October 10, 2018Been following these three for years! Love them! A band with groove & great harmonies, The MelonFarmers pull at the heart and enliven the room. I always keep my eyes out for where they’re playing (I’ve seen them at Blue Point Brewery, John Mulligan’s & Fadeley’s.)

The Melon Farmers are an acoustic trio from Long Island, Suffolk County, New York. Our style of music has a wide range that includes classic rock and bluegrass; we can also rock out a pop song. Our influences include Phish, Pearl Jam, The Eagles, Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile, Amy Helm, Greatful Dead and more. We have been playing together as a trio for about 10 years, however, we've also played togther in a full band setting. We are experienced with music from the 60s to today. Scott and Glenn bring exceptional guitar rhythms, solos and riffs that are pleasing to the ear. Combined with the three part vocal harmonies, the Melon Farmers are sure to bring a great sound and a great show.
We can provide some colored lighting and a full PA system if needed.
