Great Blues trio, great guitarist! Definitely worth the money (actually, they should be asking for more!). The guys were very accommodating when it came to changing the day of the show because of the weather forecast. I would highly recommend these guys and i plan on having them back to our event next Year!
We hired MoGuitar for my daughters 40th Birthday celebration. This band is amazing, the guitar player is top notch, really good, the drummer sounded like he was playing a ten piece drum set and he was only playing with a bass drum, snare and a floor tom, the older gentleman on the bass was awesome also. We did a lot of dancing and the band even played happy birthday for my son in law to sing. Over all we were extremely happy with the band, they acted very professionally and were not too loud for the space we were in.

The James Pitts Band plays a mix of funk blues, soul-blues and blues-rock, JPB has a set list that is made upof many dance-able songs as well as songs that instigate crowd participation. There is a certain intensity that comes with this band that you don't see that often. The intensity of the band reminds many people of blues-rock acts like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Gales, Joe Bonamassa, Ronnie Baker Brooks to name a few. The James Pitts Band is made up of schooled and road worn musicians who have been playing for well over 20 years each. The band is conscious of room size and brings a DB meter with them to set sound correctly for the room if they are running sound themselves.
