Fun show by Elvis and Neil Diamond. Mark was a true entertainer! He was born to entertain and make others feel special. My mom had a birthday and he came out and entertained everyone! He even gave my mom an Elvis scarf and sunglasses! Thanks so much for all of the memories!!
We are very disappointed in our entertainment - there was no energy - for what we paid for this we didn't get any thing like we had expected. I plan events monthly and this was the most disappointing entertainment that we have had. I expect a refund of funds.
It was a fun night to remember. People are still talking about the fun party that we had and fundraiser! We are still singing along. When Mark sang "Sweet Caroline" it had the place rocking! Everyone was singing along! He did a great job as both Neil Diamond and Elvis. Thanks Mark!
Well you asked so I imagine you want an honest answer. Here goes.
Mark was hired to "impersonat" Elvis which to me means acting like, talking like, looking like and basically being Elvis. While he sang some Elvis song and sang them well I might add he did not imitate Presley in speaking or acting. This was a big disappointment to the elders in the crowd as they were expecting.... Elvis not just some guy who sang Elvis songs. He also started his show with songs he had written himself for reasons of his own really no one was interested in that. All in all while the singing was fine I was in all disappointed as an impersonator does not just sing the songs he acts the part or am I expecting too much. The day went well and the party was fine I want to thank all involved. Mike Phillips
Mark Anthony was hired as a Neil Diamond/Elvis Impersonator for an anniversary surprise for my wife. He did a great job! He interacts well with the audience so that everyone feels included! Would highly recommend to anyone!
We had Mark Anthony perform as part of a retirement party for a co-worker. Everyone had a great time! He interacted well with the audience and Jim our retiree who had a blast!

Mark Anthony is a familiar face and voice around the area. Mark was at KSAX-TV as the meteorologist from 1999 to 2004. In addition, he was the morning air personality and program director at KULO radio in Alexandria. He has been on KIKV in Alexandria, KQIC and KWLM in Willmar, KKLN in Willmar, and KAUL in Brainerd. Mark got his start in television at KXJB in Fargo, ND back in the early 1990s. He has also done weather in Joplin, MO at KSNF-TV. Over the years Mark has filled-in at KSTP-TV and done weekends on KS95 in the Twin Cities. His radio career has had stops as well at KMXL in Joplin, MO as the morning personality and operations manager/program director, and at WDAY-FM and KLTA in Fargo. He also spent three years at KZLT and KCNN in Grand Forks, ND.
Mark left KSAX to become chief meteorologist at KDSM in Des Moines, IA and KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, IA. While there, his wife, Tracey, lost both of her parents. One positive thing did come out of the loss, however, in that Mark's brother and Tracey's sister are now married after some matchmaking done by Tracey and Mark. The two are living happily ever after in Brooten on a hobby farm. As a result, Mark and his wife wanted to get back to Minnesota to be near family. After hearing of his old job opening up at KSAX-TV, he jumped at the chance to return. Mark is the youngest of six children. His parents still live in Willmar where Mark grew up all of his life. His other siblings are sprinkled around Minnesota in Elbow Lake, Brooten, Fergus Falls, Ramsey, and Wayzata.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Mississippi State University. He also has Bachelor of Science degrees in print journalism from Minnesota State University--Moorhead, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Charter Oak State College in broadcast communications. He recently finished-up his Master's Degrees in history from American Public University, and he is completing his MBA. He is full members of both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. He has done graduate work in meteorology from Mississippi State University and the University of Northern Iowa.
Mark has a daughter, Rachel, who he is very proud of her accomplishments. He and his wife, Tracey, are happy to be back in Alexandria and look forward to seeing all of you around in the community. In his spare time Mark enjoys playing guitar, writing songs, reading, learning new things, and spending time with family
