Maia Julianne Thielen is a classically trained singer with experience singing in a range of styles such as operatic, jazz, musical theater, and folk. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and current Masters student at the University of Washington. She has performed at a wide range of personal celebrations, and in both intimate and recital settings. Whether you have a specific program in mind, or are looking for guidance in setting the mood for your event, Maia will bring a personal musical touch.

Maia Julianne Thielen, soprano, is a native of San Francisco, California, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Voice Performance at the University of Washington under Thomas Harper. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she studied with Dr. Tod Fitzpatrick, won the “Outstanding Graduating Senior” award, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017. At UNLV, she appeared as “Captain Franz von Frauenliebe” in Dan Shore’s The Beautiful Bridegroom, and as “Oberon” in Benjamin Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She was a member of AIMS in Graz in 2015, and performed the role of “Charlotte” in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival in 2016.
