Lyxx is an 80's rock n roll cover band plain and simple. With wigs or without, the memories of the "hair band" days come flooding back when audiences hear popular songs from bands like Bon Jovi, Poison, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Queensryche, Warrant, Iron Maiden, DIO, AC/DC, and much, much more. Book Lyxx for your next event and know that your audience will be entertained!
Price Range: Rates start at $500 and are negotiable
Gig Length: 45 - 240 minutes
What to Expect
If Lyxx is hired to perform, what you get is a 5 piece group of professional and mature individuals. This is for fun, not our livelihood so we all have day jobs and families and can be counted on to be on time and follow whatever rules or guidelines are needed. That makes it easy for the booker or event planner to work with us.
For the crowd, we guarantee a good time and that everyone in the crowd will hear a song they know or have heard before. It is 100% about the crowd when we play and their enjoyment is our sole focus. We do this mostly by playing songs people know as close to the originals as we can but also engage the audience, ask them to sing along, dance, come on stage if they have the desire...nothing is off the table at a Lyxx show!
Additional Booking Notes
Local to NYC but can play anywhere in the Tri-State area.
Typically look to book Friday and Saturday night gigs along with Sunday afternoons (street fairs, etc) but are open to other available days and times.
Would prefer a full back line / PA for a 5 piece band (2 guitars, bass, drums, vocals). Can bring PA if necessary.
