Our Luxury services includes budgeting, establishing timelines, selecting and reserving the event sites, acquiring permits, planning food, coordinating transportation, developing a theme, arranging for activities, selecting speakers and keynotes, arranging for equipment and facilities, managing risk, and developing contingency plans. Our duty as event planners is to speak with clients to figure out what the clients wants and needs are, coming up with ideas to inspire the clients vision, offer suggestions, establishing the date, time, location, budget, entertainment, food and favors, as well as any other details of the event.
& J Luxury Event Planning, led by the amazing team of Allenia and Julisa, totally knocked it out of the park with my bridal shower. Seriously, from the get-go to the grand finale, I was beyond impressed.
One word: communication. These gals had it down pat. Every question, worry, and tiny detail was handled with a level of professionalism that was just, well, chill. They put my mind at ease every step of the way. You could tell they were all about making my dream day happen. It was crystal clear in every convo we had.

Allenia Marcelle is a Co-Founder of A & J Luxury Event Planning, certified wedding planner, certified event management, has a Doctorate Business Administration degree focused on Event Management Education and has also obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree, Allenia spent over 10 years working for many businesses in the hospitality and event industry. During these years, Allenia became familiar with a large number of companies and got familiar with the event planning industry and learned how to connect and cater to people. She is a perfectionist that works hard to get your dream luxury vision. She is committed to personalizing your designs to match your vision and style.
Allenia is passionate and committed to helping people. In and out of her professional life, she is always finding herself in the middle of planning fun and memorable events for the people around her. She has leveraged her experience working with different planners into creating a coordination style that is unique. She specializes in personalizing diverse events for each client and handling stressful event situations with grace. Her signature is creative, planning and executing an event with incredible attention to detail and structured and logistical event flow.
Allenia loves trying new restaurants, hiking, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and wine tasting. In her free time, you can find her perusing art museums, finding something new to learn, or scheduling her next trip.
Julisa Nicholas
Picnic Enthusiast & Event Planner
Julisa Nicholas, Co-Founder, is an energetic, well-spoken, competent and capable event planner with four years of experience in the industry. Julisa is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Law and Marketing from Brooklyn College. While in college, Julisa founded The Picnicenthuasit and has acquainted herself with the event planning industry by coordinating events for nonprofit organizations, intimate gatherings, and religious soirées.
Julisa's passion for event planning started when she realized she spare-headed most events that took place while volunteering in college and growing up at home. Julisa has four years in the industry and does her best to execute the event with poise and agility. Julisa founded ThePicnicEnthusiast, a Luxury Picnic service that creates unforgettable memories for individuals indoors or outdoors they will never forget. Julisa has always had a fondness for nature and unique experiences, she is a social butterfly who loves creating luxury experiences for clients to remember.
Julisa loves outdoor adventures, volunteering, ice skating, and thrifting vintage finds. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, pets and taking day trips to soak in the different cultures NYC has to offer.

This service is for you if you have already hired all of your vendors and made all of the decisions, but you would like to hand everything over to someone else to manage the event on the day of so that you can relax and prepare to walk down the aisle.

The services offered are as follows, but are not limited to:
6 hours maximum consultant’s services on the wedding day
1 Hour complimentary consultation
One Wedding Planner
Follow-up on all deliveries to ensure they are on time
Make sure all vendors supply, according to their contracted service
Assist the bridal party in getting ready, and ensure everyone is aware of their roles,cues,etc.
Ensure decorations and details are in place at the ceremony and reception sites
Ensure marriage license and rings are present for the ceremony
Coordinate the processional order, timing and spacing
Coordinate transfer of ceremony decoration of a reception site
Ensure events continue to flow according to pre-arranged itinerary
Assist the bride with bustle,veil, and other attire difficulties
Supervision of all on- site vendors to ensure everything is provided according to contracts .
Assist with unexpected situations - vendor no show, missing items, etc.
Assistance with cake cutting arrangements for photo opportunities.
Ensuring the bride and groom have a chance to eat and drink
Supervision of clean - up and monitoring security of gifts
Dealing with the overall details so that the couple, family and friends can enjoy the special day
