Lucky Hearts Travelling One Man Band started out as a humble street performance and over the years has grown into playing in bars, coffee shops, parties, and social events of all kinds.
The music is predominantly old roots/ gypsy with the occasional modern folk song.
The performance itself involves Lucky singing while he plays the banjo, harmonica, tambourine and base drum.
Lucky also plays the guitar, dulcimer, ukulele, mandolin, accordion, and bodhrán (though not at the same time)

What to Expect
Lucky is a one man band that can provide anywhere from two to four hours of entertainment, and is equally comfortable in a laid back coffee-house style venue or a raucous Saturday night pub.
Lucky is happy to tailor his set list for any mood or venue.
Lucky was born the child of travelling actors and so grew up mostly on the road where he developed a great love of roots music and culture, the first time he picked up a banjo he knew it was a love affair that was going to last.
For Lucky performing and sharing music is almost a spiritual experience, in our modern culture we are so reluctant to accept any genuine connection that when music breaks down those barriers it can be an amazing experience for both performer and audience. It can truly be a gift, a moment of recognition.
That's what Lucky hopes to bring to the world through his music, a healing balm, a helping hand.
Additional Booking Notes
