The Biography of Lomel (Jeffrey Trainor)
When you think of meaningful R&B, you think of Lomel. Lomel is a R&B
singer­-songwriter­-lyricist/Actor that was born in Springfield, MA. Lomel started singing and
rhyming at the early age of 8. What started off as a hobby with friends soon became a
passion. Lomel states that as a child growing up in the inner city of Springfield, life was
rough but music and acting were his only outlets. Lomel has bounced around the country in and out of broken homes, programs and foster care. He also served alot of time in prison which helped him figure out what he wanted in life.
As Lomel grew into life, he also grew into his
music, listening to different genres and learning to relate his life to his music.
Lomel also moved around the country which exposed him to alot of different genres of music and tastes.
Some of
his early influences include Micheal Jackson,Usher, Ne­yo, R­Kelly, Brian McKnight, The
Temptations, 112, and Donnell Jones. Recently, he has been influenced by Trey Songz,
August Alsina, Chris Brown, Sam Hunt, and Brentley Gilbert.
Lomel served 12 years altogether in prison and   out of that time 2 years of it was spent in solitary confinement. This is where Lomel sang everyday to become better and find his sound.
Lomel has an incredible talent with words. He is also an aspiring actor. Recently playing one of Bennys Guys in Proud Mary. A feature film starring Taraji P Henson. He loves to improvise and make people laugh with his charm and quick wit.  He can also write songs in a matter of minutes,
and this quick talent skill also contributes to his freestyle capabilities. Give him a beat,
and a topic and he will gladly freestyle on the spot during any inquiry or interview. Make
no mistake, his songs have meaning and are personal. His goal in his music is to
connect with listeners and fans. He strives to make songs people can feel. "I've always
wanted to make music that can lift people out of the darkness," Lomel says.
Lomel is currently finishing his debut Ep in collaboration with Jon Glass owner and producer at Glasshouse.

I do require time to do a sound check and if no P.A system and mics are availible at venue then I will need them rented or added into cost of performance.
