THE DUO DID A NICE JOB, IT WAS A SUBDUED ENVIRONMENT, BUT THEY KEPT THE GATHERING LIVELY.
IT WAS APPRECIATED.
The band was PHENOMENAL! They played many of the "usual" Irish pub tunes and incorporated many songs from our favorite fandoms into the ceremony and reception sets. We recommend them to anyone looking to host an event, whether it be a wedding, a faire, a gala, or a good festival!

Lochlann is a Celtic music group that specializes in music from Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Cape Breton, with other world music elements blended in. The name Lochlann refers to "people from the north" who invaded Ireland (Vikings) and Jonita Aadland is a Norwegian fiddler who is descended from these people of the north. Her specialty is Scandinavian fiddle music and she fronted a band at EPCOT for nearly 20 years playing Norwegian music. However, her passion is Irish and Cape Breton style fiddling so that is the music she really likes to play these days. Hence, the name "Lochlann" that blends these traditions. Teamed up with other expert folk musicians in the area, the band can consist of fine vocals doing Irish drinking songs, Irish flute, recorders, lute, bouzouki, accordion, drums, guitar, and even step dancers if requested. The main element that is a guarantee is fine fiddling!
