Lehua Lani’s Polynesians have become known for their great new awakening of Polynesian dancing. Entertaining since 1985 with authentic dancers (third generation), dances and costuming from the Polynesian Islands. Performing the exciting drum dances from Tahiti to the exciting Fire knife dance of Samoa adds to the sensation of an evening in the islands. The troupe is self contained with dressing room, stage props, digital sound system or a live 3 piece band and floor stage lights.

Lehua Lani prides her show in being truly authentic with fast costume changes which allow more dances within the hour time frame. There is no down time in her show as the MC fills the audience with history, trivia and detailed explanation of the next set of dances they will see. This explanation creates an better understanding of what will be seen next and appreciation for the dance. This show is the only show which contains hulas from ancient chants - Hollywood Hulas- WWII style - and Today along with the Tahitian drum dances and hula, Maroi Chants and famous Poi balls performed by all dancers and the exciting Samoan dances including the breath taking Fire Knife.
Lehua Lani is from Kailua, Kona Hawaii. Studied Hawaiian history and culture at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu Campus. Her love of the art of Hawaiian dance lead her to the well known Kauihealani Brandt with whom she studied with since age 11 and still continues to study the art of Hawaiian dancing. The dance troupe has been performing since 1972 and is now performing with second and third generation dancers. Not only does their show bring you the atmosphere of an Hawaiian Luau but the history and background of all the Polynesian Islands. This family show is entertaining and informative leaving every audience the feeling they were in Hawaii. The show extends is stage to the audience with the humorous audience participation and a special section for the children's audience participation when available. All costumes are authentic and handmade with the traditional techniques of Polynesia. Their mission is to bring Hawaii to you and they do just that!
The show is self contained with stage props, lighting, lighting and stage effects, dressing room and digital or live music.
