Overview

I am a burlesque performer which involves intelligent, sensual and tasteful striptease. These performances are not suitable for children or minors. As a client or audience member, you can expect to be thrilled, teased and thoroughly entertained by the magic of a great burlesque act. In addition to being a solo performer, I also regularly produce shows and can curate a show for your special event, specifying the performers, their acts and providing different thematic choices and guidance. Always professional with a good attitude, I am glad to provide references if need be.

Additional Booking Notes

Depending on the act/s requested, I have different stage and set-up requirements. If an act is requested that requires setup, I will require someone to set the stage or performance area for me as I do not like revealing my costume before getting on stage.

Legs Malone

Legs got her start through London's famed Whoopee Club in 2006 and has performed on stages in her native New York City and throughout the USA, Canada and Western Europe. She is the producer of Long Island’s only regular burlesque show Burlesque After Dark at Huntington Social in Huntington, NY as well as the monthly Wolfshine Burlesque in Brooklyn, NY. With a formal academic training in Art History and Contemporary Art, Legs brings a developed eye towards the aesthetics of theater, performance and entertainment to create humorous and titillating acts for the audience's pleasure. Her goal is to be a heart-stoppingly excellent performer on every stage and in every country she finds herself in.

Set List

*Please note that I am happy to create an act around a theme or event with advance notice.

Black & Tan Fantasy - a playful take on the classic song - a classic strip that starts cloaked in a trench coat, strips down to a red and white polka dot bra and garter with the final reveal in matching colors. Well-timed choreography and a very playful spirit makes this my most requested number.
Genre - classic
Travelability - easy

Champagne and Quail - also known as my Beta Fish act. Inspired by the languid flow and movement of New York City’s most popular house pet, this number is an art deco showgirl fantasy set to a gorgeous and elegant Henry Mancini song. Every inch of the gown, sleeves and headdress is covered by skintight holographic purple sequins. A slow, sexy number ending in merkin and pasties.
Genre - classic elegance
Travelability - easy

Let’s Get it On - easily my most infamous and provocative number dedicated to wholehearted indulgence that has yet to leave an audience seated by the end of it. True to the Marvin Gaye hit, I get it on with a box of donuts. An extraordinarily popular number that requires notice beforehand - tarp provided to protect the performance area from small amounts of jelly, custard and a dusting of powdered sugar, along with bits of donuts.
Genre - surrender to one’s passion, donut love
Travelability - easy but need guarantee of donut and filling availability. Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme preferred

Meditaao - also known as my dryad number. As a dancing tree spirit who wanders onto stage, I slowly warm up, shedding my leaves for the world to see. A slow number with showgirl-quality costume, complete with headress dress with train and gloves with branches attached. One of my more popular “beautiful” numbers.
Genre - classic
Travelability - easy

Bettie Page Tribute - conceived of in tribute to Bettie Page after her death, this number starts off as a pin-up and quickly turns into something far more dominating. A crowd favorite.
Genre - classic, fetish
Travelability - easy/moderate

Magic Lamp - A classic performative tableau of a woman who gets what she asks for - a surefire crowd pleaser.
Genre - comedy
Travelability - easy

Infestation - what starts off sexy ends up virtually crawling. A crowd favorite and comedy classic.
Genre - comedy, Halloween
Travelability - easy

Dr. Feelgood - a take on a breakup, starting off as a sobbing, heartbroken girl in her bathrobe and slippers who, over the course of Aretha Franklin’s classic song, realizes that a Rabbit is truly her best friend. Dildo used in the number but not graphically - all implied use is hidden.
Genre - comedy
Travelability - easy

Foot Stompin’ - a very bouncy and dance-y number to a classic song from the 1950s. Lots of shaking and bumping with fringe and crinoline to match.
Genre - playful, sweet, high energy
Travelability - easy

I Believe in a Thing Called Love - a high-energy number all about love set to the hit by The Darkness. Very rock and roll with a visceral sense of stripping and fun. Very popular with bachelor/ette parties and birthday parties. Ends in heart merkin and pasties, because I do believe in a thing called love!
Genre - classic, rock n’ roll
Travelability - easy

I’m Your Late Night Evening Prostitute - a performance art/burlesque number done to Tom Waits’ somber and beautiful song. It is a very quiet number that starts with a woman getting home from a day job and turning into a woman of the night. A double reverse strip, good for art or performance-based sexuality.
Genre - performance art
Travelability - easy

In The Dark - a number done as the infamous leg lamp from A Christmas Story (famous US movie) - currently under construction.
Genre - classic, movie-related
Travelability - easy

Put it in Your Mouth - a raunchy number set to Akinyele’s graphic song of the same name. False teeth and a vagina dentata are used - a very graphic number that thrills and horrifies audiences alike.
Genre - comedy
Travelability - easy

Smoke Gets in Your Eyes - a girl as cigarette gets lit and burns into an ashtray. A cinematic piece of poetic proportion. A classic, graceful number. Large props (ashtray, book of matches and cigarettes) make for special consideration and amenity when travelling.
Genre - classic
Travelability - difficult

Baby, It’s Cold Outside - a classic wintertime, holiday number to warm the chill off of any winter’s night.
Genre - classic, winter holiday

You’re Making Me High - a foxy, somewhat cheap woman shares her love of huffing.
Genre - comedy

Just For A Thrill - a classic, elegant number in a long evening dress with a single ostrich feather. Ends in pasties and merkin.
Genre - classic
Travelability - easy/moderate

Ain’t No Grave - a sexual wraith returned to life. Ain’t no grave gonna hold that body down...music by Johnny Cash. I am entirely painted white during this number - visually very strong with impact. Shower facilities post-show appreciated but not necessary.
Genre - Halloween, fetish
Travelability - easy

Staring at the Sun - a reanimating corpse at the scene of the crime - nude underneath a sheet on the floor, waking up to TV On The Radio’s haunting song.
Genre - Halloween, fetish

Influences & Inspiration

The amazing burlesque performers of years past - Lili St. Cyr, Jennie Lee, Gypsy Rose Lee - as well as my contemporary influences and inspirations - World Famous *BOB*, Julie Atlas Muz, Dirty Martini to name a few. I am also very inspired by the performance artists of contemporary art scene, specifically Ana Mendieta, Marina Abramovic and Vito Acconci. With regards to comedic influence, I happily cite Lucille Ball, Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, John Belushi and other fantastic physical comedians.
