L.A. Rhythm Crew was formed in 2011 to provide an alternative to the more common "classic blues/rock" or pop band. Although we have our list of classic rock tunes and love playing them too, we are professional, versatile musicians who take pride in our ability to perform many styles of music - everything from jazz standards to R&B, to disco, to modern pop and rock (the Beatles to Bruno Mars) - and to do it all extremely well. Most of all, we are here to make YOUR event fun!

What to Expect
We are a five piece top40/variety band with 3 females (Lead Singer, Bass Guitar, and Keyboards) along with 2 males (Guitar and Drums).
We take pride in our ability to do a great job at any event. We're seasoned pros and we look and sound like the professionals we are.
As a band, we do a LOT of harmonies - many more than most pop/rock bands out there. We're polished, well-rehearsed, and love to have fun!
We bring our own very high quality PA system good for up to about 150 people and our own stage lights, unless the venue provides them.
We arrive early and are ready to go on time. We have consistently received rave reviews.
Ann-Marita, our featured singer, has toured much of Europe and Australia.
Wendy, our bass player, has toured with the Marvelettes, the Classics IV, and several other show bands.
Terry, our keyboardist, toured with Hank Ballard, The Marvelettes and the Coasters.
Larry, has toured with Maxine Nightingale and performed shows with artists as diverse as Edgar Winter and Stanley Turrentine.

Additional Booking Notes
We bring our own high-quality sound system which will cover up to about 150 people. We have stage lights if the venue doesn't provide them.
For larger venues/events, I can either subcontract additional sound and lighting (at an additional cost), or I can refer them directly to you and you can contract with them yourself.
We don't require a LOT of a/c power, but a couple of 20 amp circuits is generally all that's needed.
We are a five piece band, so cannot fit in an 8 x10 stage area. We prefer having a stage at least a foot high, or a performing area at least 12 x 16 - and 12 x 20 is preferred. We've fit into smaller stages, but it does limit our ability to move and engage with the audience.
If the venue requires the band to have their own liability insurance, I can provide the Certificate of Insurance as needed at an additional cost.
We love to engage the audience and will keep the dance floor crowded all night long!
Note we also can add many, many jazz standards if you need a set of "dinner music". The three set lists below were for a mixed age group event and they didn't want a jazz or dinner set, so we started with more danceable music.
