What to Expect
The client can expect the artist to be punctual for all meetings and appointments, can expect response to calls and emails within a 48 hour period, and kind and courteous interactions! At no time will the artist try to force the client to purchase additional products from other companies, and will only offer advice on brands and additional products if requested by the client. Because makeup artistry involves the touching of faces, eyes, and lips, the client can expect the artist to properly clean all brushes and materials prior to use on the client, and will always maintain good hygiene when working with multiple clients to ensure the safety of all involved.
Hello! My name is Kimberly D'Agnese, and I'm currently finishing up my Master's Degree at UNH. I was born and raised in Concord NH, and spent my collegiate career in multiple different states for internships and training. I began studying drama at Hofstra University, spent a semester working with the Walt Disney Company as an intern, then returned to New Hampshire to study theatre at UNH. My other experiences have led me from Broadway to London, and many places in between! I've always loved working with makeup on myself and others, and my training as a theatre artist opened up new opportunities for me as a makeup artist as well. I’m also working with Sephora as a makeup artist and beauty associate, so my training and experience there has also helped me perfect my methods.
As an artist, I offer many different beauty packages. Since I'm relatively new as a freelance makeup artist (this is my first year), I'm still tightening up the process, but currently I offer the following packages:
* Basic Bridal * $150
-It's the beginning of the rest of your life with that special someone, and it's my job to bring out the natural beauty you already have and accentuate it to the max! Looks range from subtle and dewey to glamorous and edgy. The bride gets my full attention! (Hair is optional at an additional cost) The price includes a trial run from a month up to a week before your big day to make sure everything is just how you'd like it, and covers my own transportation within a 30 mile radius. The price includes up to three hours of work from the time our appointment begins on the wedding day, and the pay is $20/hour for every additional hour required.
* Bridal Party * $60/person
-My bridal party package is the perfect add-on to the Basic Bridal package. It includes basic foundation, blush, lip, eyeshadow, liner and mascara that’s to be decided by the bride at the time of the bridal consultation. Basic hair styling can be negotiated. If your bridal party (including maid of honor and mother of the bride) exceeds 5 women, extra time is needed - so please plan accordingly!
* Flower Girl * FREE
-Along with the bride and bridal party, your flower girl will look beautiful with a little bit of lip gloss, a hint of blush and highlight and a few swipes of mascara if desired.
* Girls Night In * $250 for groups of 3-6, $40/person additional
-Nothing is more fun than a night in with the girls - and throwing makeup and beauty products in the mix makes it even more fun! I'll bring some of my new favorite products for you and your friends to try, and by the end of the night you'll all have a goody bag full of products to sample for the next week! Snacks, samples, and a bottle of wine (for parties ages 21 ) are included in the price, as well as access to tons of new and top selling products.
* Everyday Makeup Consultation * $40
-If you’re new to makeup entirely or you want to refresh your routine, my everyday makeup consult is what you need! This includes color matching for foundation, tutorials on how to contour and highlight, sampling of various eyeshadow looks, and application of eyeliner and mascara. I bring a mini-makeup store to your door, so I can also recommend additional products and how to order them. Your choice of every day casual or business appropriate.
* High Fashion or Photoshoot * $150
-Got a photoshoot or need for a strong look? Let’s set up a high fashion appointment. This includes application of products including (but not limited to) full foundation, highlight and contour, eyes, lips, and hair. Additional products (lashes, appliqus, etc) can be added for an additional cost (retail value of the product needed)
* Prom Makeup * $40
-Whether it’s Prom or Homecoming, you’ve gotta look gorgeous for your big night! Includes full face of makeup: Foundation, contour/highlight, blush, eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and lips. Hair may be added for an additional cost. False lashes and appliqus can also be added at an additional cost to cover the retail price of the items.
* Special FX Paint Job * $50/hour
-Whether it’s a performance, a photoshoot, a movie, or Halloween, all of your special effects needs can be solved here! Includes character consultation, drawn mock-up of the look, and final application. Hourly rate applies to consultation AND application, due to the more intense nature of a special effect look. If your look requires additional materials that I don’t carry in my kits, an additional fee may apply.
* Special FX Custom Prosthetics * $100-$400
-If your Special FX job requires more than just a paint job to achieve the desired effect, there’s the option of additional custom made prosthetics. From higher cheekbone’s like Maleficent’s to a fully realized zombie, I can provide you with good quality prosthetics to further realize your character. Price includes a consultation to design your prosthetics and any casting of your face/body, the cost of labour (which can take up to 20 hours) and the materials to design, mould and cast your prosthetics. Prices range due to the intensity of your desired look and the size of the prosthetics needed. Prosthetics can be created out of gelatin or latex. Does not include the application time ($50/hour)
* Theatrical * $30-50/hour for single person, prices upon request for full cast.
-Do you need a makeup artist for your next theatrical production? I can provide basic theatrical makeup up to old age and special fx work for the stage. Theatre is my specialty, and my passion, so I can provide whatever makeup services you need for your production! Prices vary due to type of look and the number of actors who need makeup, so please inquire for more details.
ALL of the packages that I offer come with a consultation to make sure I can provide exactly the look that you’re looking for. This consultation can be completed in person (required for bridal packages and special effects), email correspondence, or you can select a look from my look book. Each service varies in what I may need for information from the client.
Additional Booking Notes
PORTFOLIO AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
A 50% deposit is due at the time of consultation, and there is a 30 day cancellation period for all events. If you need to cancel 30 days or more before your event, you will get your deposit back minus the cost of travel for the consultation (for special effects, you’ll be charged for any casting done at the time of consultation). If you must cancel within 30 days of your event, unfortunately you will forfeit your deposit - my schedule is very tight, and I can’t afford to block out time for an event and have it fall through.
Every package comes with a specially drawn out contract of services to be signed by the client, outlining a description of my services, the agreed upon rate of pay, and the number of clients being served (ie: Bride and 5 bridesmaids). Any required additional fees will be outlined at this time, so the fee agreed upon at the time of consultation WILL NOT CHANGE. If you MUST add additional services, an additional contract can be added. Both the client and artist receive copies so that each has a record of the services agreed upon. This is to protect the client from being overcharged and from improper services, and protects the artist from facing additional work spur of the moment.
Additional services, products, and time can be arranged for each client, but it must be planned for in advance. Every application appointment comes with roughly 30 minutes of buffer in case the appointment runs long, but in the case that the artist takes extra time to complete the application you will not be charged. The cost of travel and tolls will also be agreed upon at the time of consultation (in advance of the event).

Influences & Inspiration
My experiences in theatre and in the makeup world have shaped and moulded the way I approach makeup. It truly is an art form, and like any art, requires a plan, patience, and understanding of technique. I've practiced my craft in and out of multiple companies, cities, and areas, and I've studied under the eye of many theatre artists and makeup artists. I'm always looking to expand as an artist, trying the latest techniques and products to stay on top of the ever-changing trends.
