Navigating through the daily struggles and challenges of LIFE is not an easy feat. As a Vice-Principal at one of the largest high schools in Oregon, a mother of FIVE adult children of color, an intellectual, a songstress, a pastor's wife and a community young adult leader and advocate, my experiences and education has equipped me with knowledge, wisdom and a unique perspective on how to overcome the external or internal barriers that attempt to steal your personal and professional growth. I have spoken to audiences ranging from K-12 Schools, Universities, Church groups, Young Adult groups, Community Adult Groups and more. You will be inspired and encouraged to 'DO YOU!'

I am a native Oregonian. Raised by a single-mom with three siblings. I earned my Bachelors of Science and Masters of Education at Portland State University. My career as an educator in the state of Oregon has given me an inside view of the strengths and weaknesses of education and it's future. I have been speaking in front of audiences for over 20 years through requests and volunteerism. I'm writing two books that will be published in 2019. One book is about the dark world of sexual abuse and the other is the truth about education inside American schools. It is my hope that once I retire from the field of education, I will be able to become a full-time motivational speaker. Now, I can only take speaking engagements on the weekends. My personal tragedies and experiences of racism, abuse, cancer and divorce is only a glimpse of how I understand that the STRUGGLE IS REAL!
