I pride myself on always going the extra mile in order to create the perfect video product for you.
We just wanted to take the time to say how impressed we are with the video Ken made us. He definitely captured the high points. The video included the ceremony and the reception, watching the video was like reliving the night all over again.
We definitely recommend Ken Lehman for wedding videos!
What to Expect
What To Expect When Working With KLP
This is an important day for you and you do not want anyone taking away from the sanctity of your video shoot. We will be on our best behavior and avoid burping, drooling, talking on our cells, etc.
2. Covert Ops
We will capture everything big and small without being obtrusive. We are more like ninjas. We are experts at blending into the surroundings and with people while knowing exactly where to be for the money shots.
3. Getting Into the Mix
When it comes to events, we love to get involved with your guests. So pump up the volume and let’s dance.
4. Appropriate Attire
We will arrive fresh, clean, and dressed professionally…especially Ken.
5. We Were Supposed to Make a Left…Right?
We don’t ever want to cut it close with arriving. We like to provide a “cushion” of time for us to set up and get familiar with the location well before the shoot begins.
6. Tango with the Photographer(s)
We are some gooood looking people. However, you are not going to want a million pictures with us and our equipment in the background and vice versa, a million scenes of the photographer(s) in the video. We get a game plan together with the photographer(s) to ensure we are able to film all the awesome moments.
7. We Take Our Sweet Time To Do It Right
You want to watch your film(s) immediately. We completely understand. However, Ken is a creative artist. He goes through every single bit of footage, slaves over songs, and torments over different camera angles. He wants to give you the best film(s) possible and promises to get it back to you within 7 to 9 months. It will be worth the wait.
What KLP Expects From Awesome Clients Such As Yourselves
1. Your Video is Made to Order
We want to give you the most rockin’ video possible but we need your help. Our questionnaire asks details about the day/timeline/details so that we are prepped and ready for the big day. Your questionnaire is also our road map while editing your film. Any mistakes we make on the film (try not to laugh) will be taken care of immediately. However, any editing requests not included on the questionnaire will be subject to a re-editing fee, so please be detailed and return the questionnaire to us in a timely manner.
2. It’s Going to be Fun on a Bun
Everyone has to get use to being comfortable around a camera, so do not worry. Just be your usual self and enjoy the ride. We are there to preserve all your candid moments just as they naturally unfold.
3. Staying Up To Date
To keep you up-to-date on the latest happenings at KLP, please like/follow us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Tumblr, and subscribe to our Vimeo and YouTube channels. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, then no worries.
4. On the Road Again
If your video shoot is outside of the Glen Cove city limits or better yet in a lavish exotic destination location, then there are travel fees that apply. We are not going to book a room at a five star hotel or go out for steaks every night. We just need a roof over our heads, gas in the cars, and food in our bellies. Check out your video agreement for the specific details.
6. Rants & Raves
If you love your film, please tell your friends, family, bowling league, and us. The only way we can get even better than we are now is by hearing your thoughts and feelings about it.
7. Paperwork & Payment
Let’s not make this awkward: Paperwork and money. Your video agreement and questionnaire need to be filled out, signed, and returned along with the initial retainer ASAP. Your balance needs to be received two weeks prior to the shoot date unless alternative terms have been worked out beforehand. The last thing we want to discuss the week of your shoot is paperwork and payment, so please resolve this ahead of time.
Growing up, I did not know it then, but videography seemed to be what I was destined to do. It was always a part of my life in some shape or form but it was not apparent. However, it finally became fully apparent to me nearly ten years after I lost my father in the World Trade Center on 9/11. It was only then I realized my purpose in life was to be a videographer that documented people's events and promoted their businesses because we never know what tomorrow will bring.
So in honor of my father and inspired by my mother, I founded Ken Lehman Productions (KLP for short) in Glen Cove, New York on June 4th, 2011 and had provided my videography services for Long Island, New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut. I then relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2013 and provided my videography services for the Carolinas. In 2017, I returned home to Glen Cove, where I once again serve Long Island and New York City.
Regardless of location, I have always been committed to producing only the highest quality videos and providing professional, friendly, and prompt service. Since all my clients are important to me, I am dedicated to making your experience a special one. I pride myself on always going the extra mile in order to create the perfect video product for you.
Additional Booking Notes
At least one person should wear one of KLP’s lapel microphones. KLP’s lapel microphones are for the video recording only and will not be amplified.
KLP’s external recorder should be plugged into an audio system. If there is no audio system, then KLP’s external recorder should be placed near any individual who is reading, singing, etc.
KLP generally uses on camera LED lights, the location's indoor lights, and/or natural outdoor light (i.e. the Sun). However, if more lighting is required, then KLP has a three point lighting kit. Note: It is an extra cost for the lighting kit.
For events, I prefer to be in the background and shoot the candid moments that unfold naturally. As the people become comfortable, I may get in closer for some unique angles or moments. I do not stage shots or pose people.
For businesses, I prefer to be in a designated location (or locations) where there are no interruptions for either me or the business.
KLP is not responsible for loss of media quality due to restrictions at locations or general obstructions.
