Hi! My name is Keith and I play folk music. My speciality is a genre know as American Primitivism, which is a completely instrumental acoustic genre. The reason I love playing this music so much is because (for me, at least) hearing it brings me to a special place. I hear it as having a very comforting, homey, relaxed sound, although music is subjective, so you may not experience it the same way. The songs I play range from about 3 minutes to around 6 at the most, and are a combination of standard acoustic and lap style slide. I also may pepper in more traditional Folk Music with vocals depending on the gig

You can expect me to come onstage, settle into my chair, crack a joke or two, and play my music. No fancy light shows, no costumes, no dancing, just me. As I said in my bio, I like things relaxed, and as low stress as possible
I've been playing guitar for nearly 10 years, jumping from Metal to Rock to Jazz to Psych and all things in between before finally settling into Folk Music, which I truly believe is my musical niche. Outside of music, I try my hardest to be the nicest person I can, and ensure that everyone around me feels safe and comfortable. I also have a physical disability which effects my balance, so if you see me stumbling a bit it's not because I'm intoxicated in any way (I have more respect than that).
All I need to perform is a chair (Folding, Barstool, anything really), 2 Dynamic Mics (one for the guitar and one for my voice), and whatever sound system you have at the venue. I can provide mic stands and wires if need be.
I like to keep things exciting, so I don't like to have a set in stone set (see what I did there?), so I'll just list all of the songs I have to choose from. I most likely won't play every single one every time
