What to Expect
Music that you have fond memories of, and not a lot of banter.
However, I am personable and will always do my best to make your guests comfortable and welcome.
I grew up loving music of the 60's and 70's, and that's still my favorite period of music to play. It's also the music that people love to hear and sing along to.
Now, I'm not personally a fan of "sing-a-longs", but people can't help it, sometimes when they hears songs that meant a lot to them.
Those, hopefully, are the songs I play.
I've been playing guitar for 40 years. My favorite music is acoustic, and some of the music that meant the most to me, is from the 70's...so I play a lot of those songs. I try to stay away from the "over-played" songs, to some degree..but I'll always play what people love.
I started "Interior Motives Publishing" for publishing my own music. I have a small studio where I record my songs and occasionally, the songs of others, who hire me to engineer thsir music.
Additional Booking Notes
For living room concerts, I sometimes don't even need a sound sysem, if the group is small enough (a dinner-party for 8 was ideal for that).
However, I can bring sufficient equipment to play a large venue, without any difficulty.
I would ask that I be provided sufficient power to run a 300 watt sound system, and some small gear. Three outlets should be fine.
If it is an outdoor venue, I'd prefer to be under a canopy/tarp/tent of some sort.

Influences & Inspiration
Beatles, CSN (&Y), Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder (I do a medley of his tunes), James Taylor, Jimmy Spheeris, Jimmy Web, Leo Kotke, Michael Hedges, Phoebe Snow...
My ex-bro-in-law, Joe, for sure -but mostly, my father was the biggest influence.
He was the musician in our family.
The man would sing harmonies to popular songs that didn't even -have- harmonies in them, when he drive us around. Wish I'd have appreciated it more.
So, much influence came from Dad.
