Kara is available as a soloist on concertina, or as part of the duo Súgradh, in which she is joined by Jeremy Rogers on flute. Together, Súgradh's instrumental blend brings out the joy and beauty of the music of Ireland. What to Expect
Audiences can expect traditional jigs, reels, polkas, hornpipes, and other dance tunes, played primarily on Anglo concertina, with some tunes performed on the button accordion. Ideal background accompaniment for parties and other gatherings, especially those that are Celtic or Irish-themed. The performer generally does not take requests on the spot. Requests for specific pieces of music must be discussed ahead of time. Late February through April is an especially busy time, owing to St. Patrick's Day, so please book in advance.
