I live in Louisiana, I moved here when I was 11, but had never heard of Louis Prima until I saw the Jump Jive & Wail show at the WWII Museum. I think the one thing that stood out was when the guy on the piano singing the lead vocals, Louis Prima songs, talked about Keely Smith and her stage presence. I got home and decided to google Louis Prima on the internet. His music showed up on Spotify. There are entire albums so I listened and I was hooked. After listening to a few of his recordings I purchased four of his CD's. I love his music and Keely Smith. Not sure about his last wife Gia but I haven't really listened to her sing. Might get to her later. This was in the Fall of 2015. Not only do I love his music but my husband like him as well. His music lifts my spirits.
