Classical Guitar for Weddings and Events
As a gift to my best friend for her 20th wedding anniversary, I threw her a catered lunch on the cliffs above the golden gate bridge... the spot where she was married. Joel was a great musician but I let him know how important it was to be on time for this special occasion and he was 25 minutes late. He was supposed to be playing when the guests arrived but didn't arrive until well after they did. He indicated that he lived 5 minutes away and knew exactly where the spot was, but did not. My server, who had never been there before and got the exact same directions, had no trouble finding it.
I texted him when he was about 20 minutes late asking if he needed more help finding the spot. After the performance he texted back: "!!" as though he had been there all along. And no response after my thank you note. Regardless, my guests tipped him $100 not knowing any of this.
Response from Joel Monte Mahan:
Thanks again Bonnie for having me play for your friends in such a great location! They are a great couple and obviousely had a positive experience by tipping me so generously irrespective of the "behind the scenes details" about the mixup re: which part of the trail which im not happy about either.
I always try tomake everyone happy as evidenced by the 30% discount I gave you to fit your budget.
Once again thank you and....cheers!

Ps she told me it was her 25th anniversary🌞
