Joel Clyde has been a professional musician for over 3 decades and has been a side-man, and/or opened for many national acts. He is also an accomplished songwriter.
He is an outstanding acoustic guitarist and lounge singer.
He can do it all, from lounge acoustic to a full-sound dance-band show.
No electricity? No problem. Joel uses the very best in battery-powered sound reinforcement and regularly plays at lakes, rivers, and barn parties... Kayak runs, fishing tournaments, rodeos, Car and Motorcycle Shows, Fairs, and more. He can play anywhere he can get into.
If your looking for the finest in small scale, but large quality entertainment, you've come to the right place.
I can’t say enough about Joel! Beautiful acoustic guitar music for our rainy outdoor wedding ceremony in February! Joel was profession, played wonderfully, was on time and guests raved about his genuine performance. Our bride was late to the ceremony, but Joel handled it perfectly, beneath an umbrella to boot! Also, Joel made himself available on a moments notice, he was so kind and willing to help us out at the last minute. We loved having Joel play at our ceremony and will consider him again for future events. Blessings to Joel (and his wife) for being there and helping us make these special memories!

Joel was very down to earth and super kind! He was very accommodating with his music and wanted to please the crowds. Our event was made better by having Joel as our musical entertainment :)
Response from Joel Clyde:
I really enjoyed working for you. Y'all were great. Thanks.
Joel was exactly what we were hoping for and gave us a memorable Igor filled with music, dancing and laughter. Don’t hesitate to book this gifted artist!
Joel did a great job at our wedding! He even learned our obscure wedding song! Everybody enjoyed the music and wanted to know who Joel was! Thank you for the great entertainment Joel!!
Joel was fun, interactive and played all the right music. Joel made the event what we hoped it would be. Thanks
Response from Joel Clyde:
It was an honor to perform for your event. Thank you ever so much.
We hired Joel to sing at the Highway 111 Flea Market and he was wonderful and very talented. He had such a varitey of songs and not a single person complained. We will defintly have him back.
When we needed a musician for our parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration over the holidays, Joel made himself readily available to us. He incorporated song requests that truly surprised my parents..a few oldies from their college days and some romantic favorites. When Joel rocked out, no one could sit still. We haven't stopped talking about that special night. And we won't forget it for years to come. Thank you Joel!
Joel was booked by our daughters for a surprise wedding anniversary celebration in our home. What a delight to have great music while we ate our dinner. He entertained us with many of our old favorites and all the family had fun dancing to a variety of musical selections. Joel is very talented & versatile and was is truly a "one-man band' with all his special equipment. Highly recommend!

I've been a performer for over 5 decades, 4 of them professionally. I have the knowledge and experience to make your event a memorable one. No issues, no drama, just good, no-nonsense, professional service.
No electricity, no problem. I can run on batteries for as long as it takes. I regularly play at lakes, rivers, bass tournaments, car shows, barns...anyplace I can get to.
With an extensive song list of over 3000 songs, I play music from the 1940s all the way to some current Top 40. I mostly key on Oldies, Traditional Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Big Band, Latin, and Easy Listening music. But I can play whatever the gig calls for, except for Rap, Heavy Metal, and Opera. I do not do that style of music.
Both audiences and clients can expect me to show up on time, start on time, do a professional show, follow instructions, and clean up the stage after my performance. I do not drink, or use drugs, and am punctual to the point of obsession.
One common problem with musical performances is that they play too loud for the venue. I am very skilled at playing at the appropriate volume. No overly loud music here, at least from me. I use a decibel meter and usually try to keep the volume at around 15 dB above the background noise, which is a nice conversational level. I can play louder if needed, but that's always my starting point. It's all part of the professional package.
I have a 100% Customer Satisfaction Policy.
There’s been a lot of water under the bridge. That’s the best way I can describe how I got to where I am today…wherever that is. It’s a long story. I’ve always been a musician first, last and always. I was born one. A guitar has been my constant companion since I was 5 years old. I learned to play keyboards and the other 12 instruments that I play in High School. I started writing songs in my early teens. Music helped me to meet people and overcome my shyness and feelings of inadequacy, cheered me up when I was sad, gave me courage when I was scared and provided an outlet for my inner thoughts that I could never articulate. Now, I live in mountains of North Georgia, where the clear, clean streams and old-growth forests continue to inspire me. And my biggest thrill of all is performing for you…..thanks for listening.
All I need is a 12 x 12 space, and 110V electricity nearby. I do not supply lighting.
