Classical violinist for any type of event. Can easily collaborate with other talented musicians to form a Duo, Trio, or Quartet with any combination of instruments i.e. Violin/Viola, Violin/Cello, etc. I am currently in a Master's of Performance program at the University of Toronto and love what I do. The music I provide will add a hint of class to any event and add to the atmosphere.
The violinist was 10 minutes late to our cocktail hour and was not the person I had requested. I spent time watching videos before booking of the violinist playing and the guy that showed up was someone else. Otherwise, our guests enjoyed his performance.
Response from Interro Quartet:
Hello Diana, thank you for you're review. I had a family emergency on the day and didn't want to worry you about having someone there, so I sent a friend at the last minute. In hindsight, I should have contacted you and made you aware of the situation. Thank you, and I'm glad your guests enjoyed themselves.
I would absolutely recommend Adam for your upcoming event. He came well prepared to a very unique situation: I was surprising my girlfriend with a candle-lit dinner for just the two of us at our home and he surprised her by coming down the stairs playing 'Happy Birthday' and continued for the next hour to serenade us with his beautiful violin skills. Very easy process and very enjoyable from beginning to end.
Adam was a pleasure to deal with. Quick to respond and reliable. He was hired to play the processional at my wedding ceremony as well as 1 hour or performance during the cocktail hour. The wedding processional was all that I had imagined and I received compliments from the other church musicians about his performance. His prices were reasonable and in line with my expectations. I would certainly recommend Adam to anyone looking to book a violinist.

Adam Despinic received his first violin lessons at the age of six with Jennifer Spleit. When in high school, Adam approached Michael Schulte for advanced study. He was concert master of a local String Orchestra called Schulte Strings and as a member and soloist with the orchestra, Adam has inspired his associate string players and the group was awarded Best Community String Orchestra in provincial competition by the Ontario Music Festivals Association. In 2009, Adam proceeded to win top prize at the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra Young Artists Competition and then gave a rousing performance of Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen, accompanied by the HPO at the Hamilton Place Great Hall. The next year, he won the Symphony on the Bay Young Artists Concerto Competition and performed a work accompanied by the orchestra by the Canadian composer Marajan Mozetich. Most recently Adam won the Stratford Symphony Concerto Competition and performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto accompanied by the Symphony in April 2015. Adam has also been concertmaster and mentor at the IMC music camp and attended the Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute as violist. He recently finished his Honours Bachelor of Music degree on violin with Michael Schulte at McMaster University. He is currently completing his Masters of Violin Performance degree at the University of Toronto in the studio of Marie Berard.
Additional Booking Notes
To allow for a great performance, I will require reasonable lighting and armless/wheelless chairs if I am collaborating with another player. If I am to play solo, I do not require a chair.
