To be professional Interact with the folks at any event/venue we play
keeping it going to assure all have a great time as we play a great variety of music genres as well as our own Originals that are on many radio stations and internet stations. While all of us in the band have worked with national acts, we use our talents to make the songs we do fun for the audience and not about us. We not only want to get people dancing, we want to get them rocking. So the party keeps on going to the end. when the band takes a short break our DJ plays your favorite tunes to keep the night going on.

Russell Drake was hooked on music as a teen, and upon graduation from high school, opportunity knocked and he left the Hawaiian Islands and moved to Singapore. While there he became friends with Keef Ong, owner of The Woodstock Lounge, which at the time was the premier live blues venue in Singapore, (currently, that would be The Crazy Elephant, which Keef also owns) and for the next 3 years, Russell enjoyed playing with some of the top blues players in that country, including John Chee, Kamal Osnm and Jared Ellington.
In 1989, Russell moved to Myrtle Beach being a Guitar player he landed a gig playing with the Cool Cats Band.
.Then at the beginning of 2016, opportunity once again knocked in the form The Inlyn Gruve Band from Murrells Inlet, where he is currently playing lead and Rythem Guitar.

In his profession career he played for a time in the National band called Brownsville Station.
Also his band's were the opining act for such name as Bob Seger, The Supremes, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Golden Earring. And more.

He was in a band called the sneak preview band a back up band for Clifford Curry, Oscar Tony Jr. Johnny Taylor, Billy Scott ,and many more National Acts
Ron Craine and the Playboy band had a cd on cd baby called Can you hear me now. we are pleased to have him as a member of the Inlyn Gruve Band.
