Dr. Kim is an educator, scholar, a multidisciplinary artist who is considered a textile designer, folk artist, storyteller, teaching artist, painter, poet, cultural event planner and a certified yoga instructor. She provides a unique approach to sharing uplifting stories with messages about morals with ancient meanings via sacred symbols and songs that build literacy, creative, and critical thinking skills. Her performances activate a sense of edumatainment, an eclectic mix of education and entertainment that incites audience participation.
