I am a fully insured Atlanta-based aerialist, hula hoop artist, fire dancer, and burlesque performer. With nearly 10 years of performing experience, I dazzle and delight audiences of all sizes.
The last gig that I booked Ellie Cerceaux for was our NYE show, but it's only the most recent hire!
Ellie has delivered time and again as one of the principal guest cast members of productions for The Bifrost Arts Collective.
As an independent contractor, Ellie *always* arrives promptly, prepared to perform, and is absolutely the best about navigating the intricacies of live performance and all of it's foibles! Ellie is one of the most safety conscious performers I've ever hired and I have full trust in their ability to judge venue suitability for any type of non-standard performance (fire, aerial). There is a feeling of security there because I know that Ellie is insured and constantly working to keep their certifications current.
Hula hooping for go-go, performing lyra and burlesque, fire handling, and a command of the microphone means that every time I hire Ellie, I know that I will be getting a cast member who will take my production up to new heights. I have yet to see audiences not wowed or fellow cast members not pleased to see them on the roster.
Ellie is just as reliable for digital content, having worked for my organization on two short film projects ("Summoning: The Dark Cabaret," and "Go-Go-To-Go") as well as being a reoccurring guest performer for our 2 season digital variety show, The Bifrost Hour.
Price Range: $100 and up
From ambient performances to create the perfect atmosphere to an established and choreographed act, I can bring joy and wonder to any event. I am a fully self-sufficient performer who will bring all necessary safety equipment. For fire performances, I do have my personal fire safety, who is required. For aerial performances, I need early entry into the venue and technical specs. I prioritize my own safety to allow myself to provide the highest possible quality of performance.
Ellie Cerceaux first picked up a hula hoop in 2011 and hasn't stopped spinning since! Their signature style blends circus, burlesque, and their favorite fandoms into a spiral of sparkle. They have performed at Smoky Mountain Burlesque Festival and New Orleans Nerdlesque Festival. One time, they were even named “Not-So-Sexy” by Razorglam Productions, which they consider a compliment! Ellie flies high as a co-founder of Celestial Cabaret, a local movement arts collective where all bodies are celebrated as heavenly bodies, and they empower others to tell their stories through circus arts. With humor and a knack for the unpredictable, Ellie twirls across the stage and into the hearts of audiences. Be careful! They will leave you dizzy and breathless.
Hula hoop and burlesque can be performed in any venue, indoors or outdoors.
Fire requires the event producer to secure any necessary permits or insurances for the event, adequate space for any fire props, and entry into the event for my personal fire safety.
Aerial requires a one-on-one discussion of the venue technical specs, such as ceiling height, rigging points, etc. I may request a certification of inspection if asked to rig from the building's structure. I do have access to an aerial rig for an additional rental fee.
