At Helping Hands Party Staffing, our goal is to relieve the host of all stress and work involved in entertaining. We offer professional, experienced and friendly servers, bartenders and kitchen/grill help for any type of celebration. From weddings to corporate events, birthdays to housewarming parties, showers to BBQ's, holiday dinners to small dinner parties, we have the staff to make sure your event is a success.
We were lucky enough to have Melissa as a server at our backyard engagement party and I don’t think it would’ve been as big of a success without her!! She is SO unbelievably good at what she does. She’s kind, attentive, and really looks out for your best interest all night long. She had so many tools and accessories on hand that helped make our party even better. She was so considerate of our home and took time before the party started to get familiar with the space and how we wanted the night to go. Everyone at the party kept raving about how great she was. She cleaned up plates/food/drinks throughout the night, making our own cleanup the next morning a BREEZE.
At the end of the night, I couldn’t help but give her a big hug for all of her help! I highly recommend using her at your next event.
Melissa was a one person army… she handled every aspect of my event, from the pre setup, chair covers to the buffet setup and service. She was the backbone to the success of my mom’s glitzy 76 birthday party. She was very helpful and friendly, a real professional! Anyone requiring a seasoned event assistant, Melissa is the right choice!
We very recently had an outdoor party for 50 people on the hottest day of the year. Melissa and her bartender, Mark, were gracious and graceful throughout the event and all our guests were mightily impressed. As a caterer, Melissa knows how to run a buffet and ran the kitchen as if it were her own, in the very best ways.
She is unfailingly pleasant without being chatty or familiar, she's efficient and resourceful, and she works clean. Our house was in perfect shape when she left. This was her second party at our home, and the time she gave my wife and me to spend with our guests was carefree and priceless.
I can't recommend her enough, and so I'll just say that we wouldn't have anyone else to help us run a big party.
Melissa was superb! From the moment she arrived and took charge, I didn't have to worry about a thing. She was on top of everything including making sure guest arriving late were fed. Everyone commented on how much having her here added to the event. Thank you, Melissa, for making this a breeze.
Melissa was instrumental to the success of our small backyard wedding. From setting up our food trays, organizing the drink glasses, plating/serving, heck she even helped clean up and do some of the dishes! Melissa tackled both food and bartending for our guests without breaking a sweat. We held a wedding for 12 people at our home, serving appetizers and four courses. Melissa helped us cook and serve, cleaned as she went, kept everyone supplied with drinks and in general was splendid in every way -- she even helped carry chairs back into the basement after the guests had left.
She was wonderful to work with, efficient and friendly and eager to please, correct and professional in every way.
Even a small wedding is no normal party. We had the benefit of lovely weather and our guests enjoyed our food, but Melissa's fabulous service was instrumental in making our event even more successful than we would have dared to hope.

Melissa contacted me before the event to clarify details of the event and offered to purchase a few items. She arrived on time and got to work quickly setting up the tables. During the reception, she kept the food and drinks refreshed and removed dirty plates. She provided some items to make the event look professional and welcoming. At the end of the event, she cleaned up and packaged the food for us to take home. I could enjoy the event with little worry.
I'm still receiving texts,calls, and posts about Melissa and her amazing drinks and service. She helped me design the perfect cocktail menu, assisted with serving, prepping food and cleaning up! She was AMAZING!! Everyone needs Melissa. I could enjoy the party while Melissa took care of everything. I will certainly be hiring her again.

A last minute decision to do the catering ourselves from a few of our daughter's favorite take out places worked on some levels but not all. Without a caterer, we were left without any waitstaff. I searched online to find GigSalad and Helping Hands Party Staffing was my first choice on the site. Melissa reached out to me immediately after I accepted her bid and kept in touch in the few days leading up to the event. She went above and beyond what I expected, volunteering to pick up the barbecue from Hambone Opera on her way to the party, saving us another out of the way trip to the Trenton Farmers Market. She got here an hour early and finished setting up while I showered and changed. Throughout the night, she was on top of things, tending to the sangria, refilling and adding to platters as needed, clearing trash and washing serving pieces. While she packed things up and straightened the kitchen, my husband and I were free to enjoy the time with our guests without having to worry about spending hours cleaning up after the party was over. Melissa is just the right balance of professional and businesslike and friendly and engaging. I was totally satisfied with her performance and will most certainly hire her again in the future. I highly recommend Helping Hands Party Staffing!
Melissa was amazing from the first email, through to the clean up after the event. Communication was excellent, her advice thoughtful, and her manners thorough and professional. She was able to pick up the slack and finish prep we ran out of time for, anticipated and prepared for problems ahead of time, and kept everything in her area running smoothly and pleasantly (for a very large crowd) all night, which left us free to enjoy our reception.
I couldn't be happier we went to Helping Hands, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in need of bartending services!
Fantastic team! Totally understood how to set up for a party. Brought all kinds of serving dishes and utensils to supplement party needs. During event, Crew worked seamlessly, to serve, replenish food, clear and clean up and allow the hosts to enjoy their guest. I highly recommend them to anyone.
We booked Helping Hands Party Staffing for our New Year's Eve Party. Melissa was very professional, kind and diligent. She was at our house in time, set up our tables nicely, and never stopped working until she left. She was efficient and courteous and was always smiling. I think her job was impeccable!

Melissa was exceptional in all aspects! She's a true professional with a very pleasant demeanor and high energy level. She went over and above all the way around -- helping out wherever she saw a need in addition to providing superb bartender services. Rarely do things work out as well as advertised, but in this case we can truly say they exceeded our expectations. We would recommend her for any occasion!
