Heather was awesome very willing to help, very flexible with proposal date and time due to weather conditions. Very kind and professional. It was my daughters proposal in Central Park and the pictures were just beautiful. She made them feel very comfortable and went above and beyond.
Thank you for all your help and making this day very special for all of us that could not be there. We now have wonderful memories!
I decided to hire Heather for my engagement proposal, she made BEAUTIFUL photographs of the whole engagement.
The whole process was incredibly smooth, since she sent me quote the communication was constant, and very kind.
She always wanted to be sure that the shooting to be perfect, and so it was!
On previous days she take her time to visit and scout the location before the big day just to be sure to take the best photographs.
She and his partner helped also to record the moment with my action cam, which was a very nice extra, Very professional!
Really, the talent of Heather and professionalism cannot be described by words.
Thanks again Heather to made that moment unforgettable.

I began working with photography in high school, originally in the darkroom and later adopted digital photography as well. I continued to pursue both types of photography in college, post grad, and during my graduate level work. I love the convenience and sophistication of digital (I shoot on a Nikon d7000), but remain an ardent advocate for the value of spending time in the darkroom processing your own images (which I shoot on an old Minolta).
I have had a longstanding interest in finding abandoned properties—in particular ones that have suffered fires—and resurrecting some of their beauty in photographic form. I like to unravel their untold stories and find ways to merge their remains with their environments and oftentimes incorporating the human form into this special relationship.
Themes that present themselves across the work also include the irony that sometimes “the normal” can be boring, sterile, and all too uniform. People and properties that are broken and aged tend to tell better stories—perhaps they no longer serve their original function, but the viewer can’t help but to wonder what used to be and what could have been.
