Harpist Charissa provides elegant, beautiful music for Weddings, Parties and Events. Charissa has performed throughout California for over 100 weddings. Her musical studies include the prestigious Colburn Conservatory of Music, University of Michigan and University of Southern California. She also performs with flute, violin or cello. She offers Classical and popular music and can accommodate special requests.
For Children's Performances, Charissa performs storytelling concerts. Current themes include Princess, Pirate, Holiday, Fairy, Cowgirl and Angel. Performances can be adjusted for specific age groups and toddler "Mommy and Me" workshops are available as well.
Charissa's harp performance was truly beautiful and amazing. Everyone in attendance was touched and silenced by her playing. Her flawless style takes you to another place and time.

Charissa Barger has established herself as an inspiring performing artist and dedicated
arts educator in Southern California. Her technical mastery and expressive playing keep
her in high demand as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. As an ambassador for
new music, Charissa has premiered numerous works, collaborated with composers and
performed for innovative concerts and recordings. She is an enthusiastic educator and
seeks to use music as a tool to help students reach their high potentials.
Charissa currently lives in Los Angeles where she is a candidate for the Master of Music
degree at the University of Southern California. She received an Artist Diploma from the
prestigious Colburn Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from the
University of Michigan, where she was a Rogel scholar.
Charissa will provide her own stool and music stand. Nothing will be required from you.
