Nichole is the founder of Harp & Soul. She began her musical studies at the young age of 4 as a pianist. However, Nichole begged from her earliest recollection to learn the harp someday. Nichole's father followed up on her request and at 13 years of age the already accomplished pianist and budding violinist began her studies on the harp under the instruction of Curtis graduate and student of Carlos Salzedo, Phyllis Enscher Peters. Nichole's passion for the harp grew throughout high school and at the young age of 16, she began her business, Harp & Soul. Nichole performed with a local orchestra, the Reading Philharmonic and the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra throughout high school. She studied Harp Performance in College and continued to grow her business while earning her degree in Harp Performance. While in college, Nichole was harpist for the University Symphony, the University Harp Ensemble and participated in various musical groups.
Nichole continued to study and perform on the harp as she pursued and completed a Masters degree in Theatrical Production.
Currently Nichole resides outside of Philadelphia, PA and is in the process of working out of both Atlanta, GA and Philadelphia over the next few years as she looks forward to her marriage.
Nichole is in demand as a talented harpist in and around the Greater Philadelphia area, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, New York and DC. She is no stranger to the Southern region having previously performed in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia while studying harp in college.
Nichole performs on 3 harps: A Full Concert Grand 47 String Camac Trianon, A semi-grand 44 string Camca Clio Extended Soundboard and a 32 string Electric Camac DHC32.
Nichole also performs on electric violin and piano.
Nichole is currently the Secretary for The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Harp Society. Nichole performs from time-to-time with the following Orchestras: The Mid-Atlantic Symphony, The Reading Pops and Orchestra of St. Peter By the Sea. Nichole has performed in the past with the Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra, Bob Jones University Harp Ensemble, Fountain Inn Symphony Orchestra, South Carolina Children's Theater, Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra Society and the Reading Philharmonic.
