I'm a singing "Pianoman" specializing in pop, rock, and modern well-known hits. With 25 years performance experience, I know how to energize the audience and keep the party going. I lead rousing sing-alongs and take many requests. I can be your soft background music, customize weddings, Christmas parties, or be the featured entertainer and rock the crowd. I can create spontaneous music or write special custom songs for people. I also specialize in The Beatles. Hit me up for rates & booking!
Greg Sebastian is absolutely awesome. He can carry the mood from tenderness to joyful and rousing. Emotions are virtually carried through the keys. He comes well prepared. A true professional. A definite recommend.

What to Expect
Well, I think my bio pretty well covers this, but I will add:
Professionalism - in that I show up looking good; my music is well-prepared and always recognizable. I put my unique personality into my stage presence by reading the crowd and sensing what they want or need, interacting with audience in humorous ways, pulling surprises, suddenly changing lyrics, wearing costumes or accessories to enhance the show, honoring or embarassing guests of honor (whichever is more appropriate), and at least ATTEMPTING as many requests as I possibly can.
I have a lot of music memorized and I read from chord charts, but I rarely sight-read music that hasn't been arranged in advance and I do not specialize in jazz standards or classical. I do however know much of the younger generation's new music, and so therefore I tend to be a good choice for younger crowds rather than older.
My name is Greg Sebastian; I live in Redmond, Washington near Seattle. I'm a 37-year old fun-loving, easy-going guy. I am a professional musician and I conduct myself with confidence and professionalism, but I don't take myself too seriously. I am all about connecting with people, realizing we're all essentially the same, having fun and loving life. I express these qualities through my music. In addition to piano and singing I play drums, hand drums/percussion, and bass guitar - but piano is my primary instrument, which I've been playing since I was 7. Though I received classical and technical training, modern music is my forte, and most of my experience has come from being a keyboardist in professional rock bands - both originals and cover bands. So I am also a songwriter, and I tend to compose music that comes from my heart and touches matters of the soul.
As much as I love performing, my main career is centered around teaching, because I discovered with joy when I was 20 that I am a born teacher. I teach piano, music theory, hand-drumming and bass guitar to all ages and all levels, and have been teaching for a living now for 17 years. I am so grateful that I love my job.
I am very flexible when it comes to helping you plan the live music for your event, and I also have a vast network of musician friends I can jam with. One of my specialties that has become a local favorite with my Seattle crowd is the sing-alongs I lead, in which I provide copies of the lyrics for hundreds of well-known songs. It's amazing how FUN it can be to host a good old-fashioned (but HIGH-ENERGY) sing-along - where everyone gets to be a part of the fun!
I am happy to customize your event by learning any songs your heart desires, including "non-piano" songs and foreign language songs. So far I have sang in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Indonesian and Bangla. I can also help you surprise a guest of honor by composing a custom-made song just for him or her, with your input on lyric ideas. Could be fun, eh?
That's enough about me. Who are you and what are you about? How can I make your live music event come to life and have that touch of magic?
This is to wide open and varied to list here. Please contact me to find out about the repertoire I am capable of providing.
