Benson, most known for her recorded background vocals, is considered one of the most recorded vocalists in the history of the music business. Maxie Bush, magically creates the sounds of Will Downing and Luther Vandross and many others in his own style. Singing Pop, Jazz, Swing, Broadway, Soft Rock, Motown, Disco, Classical and R&B, The Voices are available as duo, trio, or even as solo artists. Gilda was my Wedding Singer and she was wonderful!

Gilda was absolutely wonderful at my wedding and throughout the entire planning process. She made the announcements and agreed to be the Emcee at the reception. I would highly recommend Gilda, she is fabulous!   --     Jennifer J.    Cape May, NJ

Wonderful Vocalist!

Our residents and staff had such a great time listening to Gilda. One of our assistants left her name and number for Gilda, she would like for her to sing at her wedding. We plan to have Gilda back here to entertain again. The staff who could only hear her in the hallways asked me after the show who she was and commented on her voice. Her style was totally professional. I have already passed her name to other professionals. Some of our clients are still carrying her picture. We give her 1000 percent! Please tell her we said so. Thank you Gilda!

The Voices

Gilda Cooper specializes in Jazz Standards yet sings everything from Ave Maria to R & B, Soul, Motown, Soft Rock, Pop and Gospel.
Gilda has performed with a myriad of professional musicians in the United States and the Carribean. Performing at venues which include the Kimmel Center, Sunset Beach Jamaica and professional recording albums which are featured on Itunes.
Gilda is intelligent and talented. Gilda holds Master's degrees in Education Administration and Literacy. Her BA is in Elementary Education and has taught from elementary to college level students. Artistically, Gilda is a graduate of an Acting, Singing and Dancing School in Philadelphia and Modeled Professionally for Perkins Modeling Agency in New York (as a Commercial Print Ad model) . Gilda’s been published in every major magazine, has placed in a myriad of beauty pageants, and managed entertainers, but singing has always been her passion.

Carla L. Benson studied dance from the ages of 4 through 12. Her mother had a love for jazz vocalists, most notably Sarah Vaughn and Aretha Franklin (the Columbia Records years.) Quite on her own she discovered a group called Patti LaBelle and the BlueBelles and played "Down The Aisle" so often that the 45 record had to be replaced 4 times. Today, Carla Benson is considered one of the most recorded vocalist in the music business.
