I can provide instrumental and/or vocal entertainment in the vein of classic jazz and blues - think artists such as Louis Armstrong, Mel Torme, Michael Buble and songwriters such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Fats Waller. Either uptempo and crowd engaging - or background music featuring tasty jazz, bossa nova and blues guitar and vocal
We loved having George play at our soiree, everyone was very impressed and had a great time. He had great gear, did just as we asked and was very entertaining. We will book him again; he was the epitome of a professional, talented and entertaining performer. Thanks for guiding us to such a great person.
Price Range: $250 - $1000

As a solo artist, I offer classic jazz and blues - either instrumental or vocal, usually a mix of both. My shows are elegant, always engaging. I believe since this is "show business" an artist should always look as good as he/she plays. Smooth image is important to my shows. While I love engaging the audience, I am also happy to blend into the background and provide tasty jazz background music. When needed, upright bass and drums are added, with the occasional addition of trumpet when the occasion calls for it
George Grosman
Born in Prague, the city of a hundred spires, George has spent the last four decades living and playing music on three continents. He holds a music diploma from the Royal College of Music in London and a Master's degree from the University of Essex.
In late 2011, sponsored by the late great guitar legend, Larry Coryell, George relocated to the US and is now active on the Central Florida music scene: he works as a solo artist for Disney (mostly at the Port Orleans Resort in Orlando), he leads a jazz trio that is a fixture on the local jazz scene and most recently, he has put together Swing Boutique, a band specializing in what can best be described as "Continental Jazz" - anything from Django Reinhardt to Edith Piaf to musette waltzes.
In addition, George is a busy sideman with numerous outfits, and works in various recording studios around town, laying down guitar tracks for a variety of Central Florida artists. He also travels to Canada quite often where he performs with his six piece swing band, Bohemian Swing, most recently at the 2017 Toronto Jazz Festival.
I can provide my own equipment for audiences of 50 or less. Any more than that, I would need a decent P.A. system with one monitor wedge. I use my own mic and stand as well as my own guitar amp (AER 60) which can be put through the house system
