We are a Contemporary Christian band from the East Texas area. We are signed with Radar Talent Agency out of Nashville, TN. Our goal as a ministry is to impact the lives of everyone we come in contact with. To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a new and refreshing way. We have played on stage with some of the biggest names in Christian music. Such as, Amy Grant, Kutless, The Afters, Sidewalk Prophets, David Crowder Band, Jars of Clay, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, For King & Country, Kari Jobe, and many more. We would love to come and play at your youth event of church service, and be partners in ministry and serving the Lord with the gifts that he has given us.

Further the Kingdom offers an intimate, and authentic time of worship. From their music, to the life’s they live, they present the gospel unapologetically. FTK is a 5 man group consisting of drums, keys, 2 guitars, bass, and 2 vocalist. They provide their own gear outside of a PA system, including cables, and microphones.
After getting their start in 2010 by winning 1st place in 94.9 KLTY’s “Find Your Voice” contest. Further the Kingdom hit the ground running in 2010 under the name, “Michael James Band.” After signing with a record label out of Nashville, TN they started to rise in The a Christian music scene. With a heart for serving the kingdom of God, and leading hearts to Christ, they continued to grow, and were presented with great opportunities to use their gifts for God’s purpose. They have played along side such artist as, Chris Tomlin, Tenth Avenue North, For King and Country, Kari Jobe, and many others. After taking about a 3 year break to focus on their families, the Michael James Band has returned with a new name, great new music, and hearts to serve God in whatever capacity He calls them to.
