We provide outdoor movie events on HUGE inflatable screens.
Our events use quality digital projection, a super sound system and come with a Friendly Fun Flicks host to make certain that your event is a success... We can even provide popcorn. You provide the movie and power, we provide the rest.
We can also connect to Wii, Xbox and Playstation. Have a Dance Party.
Or how about watching the game on a really BIG screen?
Photobooth or Red carpet for your movie event? We do that to.
It's all the fun of the Drive-In, without the cars!
What to Expect
Full Service Option: Our tech is provided to deliver & setup equipment, change media, connect devices, make adjustments and breakdown equipment. We will stay on-site during the duration of your screen rental to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. Our tech is happy to help out with most event related items but please refrain from asking them to be a referee, janitor, MC, babysitter, timekeeper, lifeguard, waiter or other activities outside the ones listed here.
Drop-Off : Our tech will deliver, setup & breakdown your rental equipment but will not remain on-site for the duration of your event. If any technical difficulties arise, you will call our On Call Manager or the Delivery Tech for support. In the event of rain, customer is responsible for covering equipment or moving it to a dry location.
Established in 2009.
In the summer of 2001, Todd Severn needed an idea for his son's birthday party. His wife thought to have a movie party and show a movie on the side of their barn and invite some friends. The people who attended had ecstatic reactions, motivating Todd to bring his unique new outdoor movie party idea to life. Fun Flicks was born.
In a similar fashion the groundwork for Fun Flicks SF Bay Area took place. Started with movies and games being projected onto a bed sheet, over time equipment was upgraded, family and friends loved it... "Can you do this at our house?"
In 2009 the Bay Area location of Fun Flicks opened. We are now providing fun and affordable hosted movie events all over Northern California and Oregon.
Paul the owner has a background in Technology and Recreation Management and a love for movies and photography.

We place a large tarp on the ground that is equal to the above dimensions. The inflated screen will sit on the tarp. The sound system sits just in front of the screen at the corners. The projector will sit on our projection table approximately 10-40 feet in front of, or behind the screen (for rear projection), depending on screen size. The projector table is not tall and your guests can sit in front of, behind or beside the projector table. The screen will NOT fit under most awnings, pavilions or many trees due to the height.
