Gig Length: 5 - 240 minutes
What to Expect
This greatly depends on what the client wants, if constant soft background music for a few hours is required is can be done with a quintet or smaller but not solo work unless breaks are given. Recital type performances should not exceed 2 hours and can have a large range of ensembles for this. A quintet or quartet would work best for a wedding and we can easily perform the traditional music before during and after the ceremony. Lessons can be given in 1/2 - 1 hour increments twice a week or less and is flexible with the needs and aspirations of the student.
Being a student at the Lynn Music Conservatory, I am constantly surrounded by extremely talented musicians and wonderful musical opportunities! This means not only will I be prepared for any ensemble or solo literature needed but I have the resources to organize various different chamber groups. Whether you need a boisterous Brass Quintet for an outside wedding so they can be heard, or a soft horn trio adding wonderful background music to a dinner party or fundraising event. If the french horn fascinates you or someone you know and lessons are what you desire, I have extensive experience teaching privately and to groups of students ranging from 10 years of age to 60 years of age. If serious chamber music like Mozart's Piano and wind quintet or Brahms horn trio opus 40 strikes your fancy, mini or full recitals can be organized and will be performed with the utmost care.
I received my undergraduate degree in horn performance at the University of Akron in 2012 during which time I performed in a plethora of groups and teaching at 4 different schools. After graduation I moved down to South Florida to attend the amazing Conservatory at Lynn University. The faculty here come from other well known schools such as Julliard and University of Maryland and they themselves have wonderful performing careers in such esteemed groups as Empire Brass quintet and the New York Philharmonic. This incredible musical atmosphere breeds creativity and passion in me so I chomping at the bit for another opportunity to perform!
