After watching the "Now You See It ..." films, or "Elementary" or "The Mentalist" on CBS, did you ever wonder, "Can anyone really do that?"
Fred Zimmerman can. Fred is a respected Chicago actor who has appeared in award-winning Broadway Touring Companies around the country, and in comedies, dramas, and musicals around Chicagoland.
But Fred is the son of a cop & and an accountant. He is incurably observant, so when he isn't onstage getting into the heads of his characters, he's at private parties & events getting into the heads ... of his audience.
In short, you'll SWEAR Fred can read your mind.

Fred gave a highly engaging, entertaining, and professional performance for our group, and the feedback from attendees was universally positive. It was the perfect post-dinner entertainment for our ~20-person corporate event. Each of the different mentalist tricks were progressively more awe-inspiring, and the overall routine moved along at a good pace. Fred's witty comments and dialogue between and during tricks kept everyone engaged throughout. It was also a nice touch that he personalized the routine to our group and company. We've hired many different types of entertainment over the years but this was our first 'mentalist' - we would definitely engage Fred again and would highly recommend him to others.
Response from Fred Zimmerman - The Chicago Mentalist:
Thank you for the kind words!
Did a nice job engageing people at our holiday event. Liked how he revealed how he did what he does. Would definitely recommend
What to Expect
The Lying Game - Fred turns up the heat on select audience members to determine "Who's the liar!" And the best part is, everyone in the audience gets to be lie detectors too!
The Real Thing - Using four people, Fred demonstrates how the "fakes" get inside someone's head, giving everyone a glimpse at how they make it look real.
Poker Face - Ever wonder what it would be like to KNOW what your opponent at the poker table was thinking? You'll be buying to one-way tickets to Vegas after you see Fred read the "tells" of several audience members and look directly into their mental poker hands.
Subliminal Suggestions - We all know that what you see is what you get ... but is that really true? The entire audience gets involved in what appears to be a simple mental exercise, but the results ... are downright SPOOKY!
