"Fitz and the Cats" is a fun & funky party band that covers Motown/R&B/Disco/Top 40, Country and Classic Rock so everyone at your event is happy and gettin' down on the dance floor. We can roll with a backyard barbecue or dress it up for a black-tie celebration. We can go with our base group (5-piece) which has 3 lead singers with options to add a sax or horn section. We have a killer sound system with a sound engineer and lighting. We'll bring the party - all you need to do is dance! With incredible diversity and showmanship, your audience will enjoy our polished performance and relentless energy on stage. This band has a sound, an edge, and a powerful delivery from beginning to end.

On a 4 hour event, we typically perform 3 x 1 hour "live music" sets and run the DJ tools during the 2 x 30 minute breaks. We are happy to modify the set times based on your event. We will provide you with our set list so you can flag any songs you do not like. We are happy to learn any song requests you may have. If there is a reception, Matt can solo and provide an acoustic set of soft music or we can provide an acoustic "duo" of guitar and keys.
"Fitz and the Cats" reformed in 2010. Fitz and the Cats members include: John "Fitz" Fitzgerald on lead vocals, Deni "Diva" Jerome on lead vocals, Matt Robinson on guitar and lead vocals, Mark Young on bass and vocals, Chris Aleo on Drums/Percussion and vocals, John McDonough on keyboards and vocals and Frank Lake on Sax. In addition to performing an eclectic variety of top hits "live" -- we provide non-stop music using our DJ tools during the breaks along with our DJ automated lighting system.
