Fit to Fly is a CT band based out of Meriden who writes and performs original music. We are a four piece "rock" group with influences coming from all over the music spectrum. We are looking to play out live as much as possible and willing to play a show just about anywhere. We do it for the love of the music.

Fit to Fly was formed in 2016 by brothers Mike and Gino Cordone and their two high school friends Bill Culviner and Kevin McGill. They have played shows at places like Toad’s Place Lilly’s Pad and Café 9 in New Haven, and the Outer Space and The Space in Hamden. The band has recorded a demo and their first full length album all DIY. The Album is due to release in August of 2017.
The group began jamming in their parent’s basement after discovering that they were trapped in Southeastern Connecticut for the foreseeable future. The Cordone brothers musical aptitude was derived solely from their obsession with the grunge era. Bill’s gnarly bass skilled were formed by a passion for 80s heavy metal super groups. Kevin’s rhythm guitar style evolved from a love of surf rock and early 60s tunes.
The drummer position has recently been filled by Gino after Mike left the group to move to NYC. Josh Arabas currently presides over the microphone as Fit to Fly’s front man. Josh has ramped up the band’s energy to the next level with an animalistic stage presence, the likes of which has not been seen since the days of Freddie Mercury.
