I play the drums--everything from rock, funk and hip hop to blues, jazz and reggae. I can play proficiently to a click and/or a backing track live and in the studio and can read drum notation. I also play hand drums/percussion: bongos, djembe, cajon, etc. and can sing backing vocals and rap. I am ready and willing to travel anywhere in the world for a reasonable booking offer.
You should book me because I give every project 100% of my effort and energy and I will do whatever it takes to make sure the job is done and the people are dancing and having a good time!

I'm originally from West Chester, PA, where I grew up playing drums and listening to bands like Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins and Rage Against the Machine. I went to college at the University of Delaware for Business Management and "let go" of drumming in the sense that I didn't bring my kit with me or play much while I was at school. In 2005, I decided to make the move out to California to become an actor. Through acting classes, I met friends who encouraged me to be a part of their band, Xyzyx, and it was during these 3 and a half years that I rediscovered my passion for drumming and realized that I did not hold the same level of interest in acting.
Since moving to Santa Barbara in 2010, I have been a part of three different bands, all of which have taught me different things about myself, how to work with others to accomplish group goals and about the music industry in general. I am currently employed full-time as an Administrative Assistant, but I also work full-time on my drum career, practicing every day during breaks and every night after work and playing shows and open jams on the weekends and some weeknights. Currently, I am in a band called "Volatile Butter" that could probably best be described as a funky jam band, but we also infuse elements of many other genres in our music as well.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope that I can help you with your project/event. :)
All the best,

I provide the drumset and/or hand drums in solo performances or performances with a band already in place, unless you have a hand drum or kit that you would prefer I use. If my band is performing, we can supply amps/PA, etc. However, if those things are provided by you, the quote will be cheaper.

Foxy Lady, Hendrix
Shakedown Street, Grateful Dead
Wolfman's Brother, Phish
Rapper's Delight, Sugarhill Gang
I Shot the Sheriff, Marley
Voodoo Chile, Hendrix
Influences & Inspiration
Too many to list, really. I'll give you the first ten I can think of:
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Stage requirement: 10'x12' for the band, individually I would need about 6'x7'
