David's songwriting comes directly from life's struggles and emotional rides of love, betrayal, and fears of abandonment but each song delivers an overcoming character and way out.
David lives life through experiences. Everything he has experienced has been to learn, master and be able to share his knowledge of success and mishaps to those who may be in search of personal growth or as guide for those who may be going through personal struggles and need someone who can relate and understand that sometimes, life can throw you one helluva curve.
David is currently performing David Carson RAW 2017, down the gulf coast of Florida, then up the east coast and on to Chicago.

David's Book of Chaotic Pages
"Truth has never scared me. Truth in my eyes is always backed by two or three physical forms of evidence. This evidence has mostly been through experiences." ~ David Carson
David lives life through experiences. Everything he has experienced has been to learn, master and be able to share his knowledge of success and mishaps to those who may be in search of personal growth or as guide for those who may be going through personal struggles and need someone who can relate and understand that sometimes, life can throw you one helluva curveball, but that one can overcome obstacles with love, strength and determination to overcome. In other words, taking a negative and turning it into a positive.
David Carson is the founder and front man for the Chicago based band Bello which was created in the year 1999. David is a self taught musician, who started out playing the trumpet, then drums and piano, but always wanted to play the guitar. As a child, he fell in love with the sound of acoustic guitar after watching and listening to his dad write country gospel music. All of David's songs are first written acoustically. It's raw. You can feel the emotions of his lyrics and experience the intensity of the strumming and rhythm's.
David prides himself as a lyricist. In the beginning of his Bello career, his songs can be described as being dark and sometimes cryptic. As his musical career progressed, he changed his style of writing so his music can reach more of a fan base. His songs have their own relation to people, but can be interpreted in several different ways.
Growing up as a preachers kid, his social environment was surrounded by church. His father had several churches over time and travelled as an Evangelist. Davids social circle was restricted and did not exist outside of the church community. The religion had very strict beliefs and he wasn't allowed to participate in activities, or dress like that other people did. He wasn't allowed to expose skin, so he couldn't wear shorts or be shirt less. That meant swimming required sweat pants and t-shirts. He also wasn't allowed to watch TV or listen to the radio, so he didn't have cultural/social influences or musical styles he grew up listening to.
David was homeschooled and self taught. Since he wasn't restricted with the national education standards and pace, he excelled through his studies and was at collegiate level by the age of 15. At an early age, David questioned certain rules of his upbringings. To validate truth he would find reference 3 times, or witness an outcome 3 times to find it true. The simple triple check rule they teach all kids in math class in first grade. This is the standard he lives his life by. He used common sense and recognized how fear is used as a control factor all throughout society. Eliminate bad and or false information/stimuli which produces negative outcomes in order to create growth and positivity. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Some of what David sings about are his negative experiences and how he transformed them into a positive outcome in his life.
After 5 years of performing and touring, the band needed a break and David left Chicago and moved to Florida to clear his mind to create fresh new music. He started a solo acoustic project and released some tracks under his name David Carson. After completing his acoustic tracks, David was making arrangements to go back to Chicago and continue his creating with Bello, but was involved in a terrible head on collision, that almost cost him his life. He suffered multiple life threatening injuries, head trauma and amnesia. The amnesia took his memories, his trust in what he already knew and proved true, and was replaced with the medical field controlling his and his family's decisions through fear.
Over the years, David started regaining who he was and his core standards again, and went back to what works. He started experimenting with different techno sounds and creative techniques, and produced and mixed a few tracks for fun. It has taken David 9 years to recover and pick up where he left off before that accident. Just another piece of evidence that David takes a negative, overcomes and turns it into a positive. "Shit makes the grass grow!" David is famous for this saying.
