I've hired Toby Tobas several years in a row and is always on time, courteous to my customers, offers an excellent selection of music, sounds great, and creates an island atmosphere that takes your spirit directly to the Caribbean.
This is our fourth time hiring Toby for our Global Village event. We also hire him each May for our International Reception during commencement week. His sound is light, fun, and always sets the right mood for us. Toby is friendly, reliable, and easy to work with. Ask him about the history of the steel drum and prepare to be educated!
I work at a financial institution and we were hosting a Summer Party for our clients.I hired Toby as we were looking for some reggae music to help liven up our party. Toby was a pleasure to work with and he provided the perfect music to set the tone for our event! He was very professional and reliable, and also incredibly friendly and warm. Our clients loved his music and we had many asking if they could have his card as they wanted to use him in the future for their own parties. I would definitely hire Toby again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a steel drummer!
At an engagement party in Newburyport he was just wonderful. His talents are amazing , a wonderful person to talk to and reasonably priced. Can't wait for an excuse to have him again. One of best kept secrets !
I have an annual "welcome summer" cocktail party and always have some kind of musical entertainment. My theme this year was Calypso and I found Toby online and hired him for the event. He far exceeded my expectations. I was greeted by a warm, loving, happy guy whose professionalism was evident from the start. His talent is amazing and the sound he creates is truly special. Most of my 80 guests complimented him personally. Toby set the tone of the evening and everyone had a marvelous time. I hope he is available for all my events. Sincerely, Eileen T.
"A tropical musical delight! Toby Tobas brought the sounds of the islands to the Cape! He entertained our company with favorites and requests and even gave a mini lesson on how to play the steel drums! I wouldn't host another Clambake without him!"
Toby was an absolute pleasure!! His musical talents truly helped to enhance our wedding rehearsal dinner, and post wedding brunch. We received complements all weekend from friends & family attending. Toby is a professional in every way, and we would highly recommend him for any and all events.
