We are an innovative drum and dance group. From drumming on oil barrels and bass drums, to everyday objects, body percussion, tap dance and use of technology, our act is highly entertaining and modular. We are able to perform very upbeat and hardcore drumming routines for weddings, corporate events, Mitzvah celebrations and more, as well as acoustic sets for smaller venues and events. We tailor our performance to the client, giving any length of a show and keeping ENTERTAINMENT at our top priority! We host workshops as well!

DrumatiX presents a well-crafted experience of percussive elements, including energizing tap dance, body percussion, and drumming on and with a variety of barrels, found objects, household items, large drums, buckets, invented instruments, as well as audience interactive and technology.
The group's performances are family-friendly and are appropriate for school shows and retirement communities (with the full-length show titled "Rhythm Delivered"), festivals, corporate events, private entertainment, and other functions. The content is customizable to fit any client/product, and will sure to give any audience member a full rhythmic extravaganza!

DrumatiX also delivers rhythm workshops - from kids' events/schools to festivals and corporate team-building events. The workshops include group and individual work in body percussion, a "junkyard items" orchestra, and bucket drumming!

Established in 2017, DrumatiX has performed in venues such as Symphony Space (NYC), Clayton Opera House (NY), Rochester Fringe Festival (NY), and in New England in many venues and festivals including the Foxboro Orpheum Theatre, Mosesian Center for the Arts, Regent Theatre, Strand Theatre, Arts at the Armory, Salem Arts, Dance For World Community and the lucrative Beantown Tapfest, among others.
Company's past clients include Quicken Loans, Israeli-American Council and Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and North Hill Retirement Community.
The dancers of DrumatiX hail from all across New England, and are all professional tap dancers in the local tap community.
Noa Barankin, Founder, Artistic Director and Choreographer for DrumatiX, is an Israeli tap dancer, percussionist, musician, award-winning choreographer, theatre director, and dance teacher.
Since moving from Israel in 2013, Noa joined "The Boston Tap Company" and "Off Beat", both with which she performed until forming DrumatiX in 2017.
Noa also teaches regularly and choreographs for a variety of studios in New England, and serves as a guest choreographer and master teacher for events, companies, studios and universities (MIT, Northeastern, Brandeis, Middlebury College, IVY Boston, Southern Vermont Dance Festival, Beantown Tap Fest).
Her choreographic work has achieved national recognition in the US, including two nominations for the Industry Dance Awards for Best Tap, and national Choreography, Concept, and Entertainment Awards at dance competitions.
In Israel, Noa was a member of the international rhythm company "Tararam" for 3 years, and was a cast member in "The Power of Wishes", touring nationally for 2 years, for which she was also nominated Best Supporting Actress at the Israeli Children's Theater Awards. She was also the choreographer for song-and-dance groups that performed in Israel and NYC, as well as a performer, choreographer, and producer for many shows, TV and independent films.
