Contemporary Gospel Singer with 30+ years experience - singing and leading worship for church services, revivals, special events, women's ministry, weddings, etc. I've traveled extensively to sing, including most of the United States, Romania, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and most recently the Dominican Republic. I prefer not to be "pegged" into one particular genre (my musical taste is very diverse!), but my style has been described as "soulful, jazzy, blues-y and anointed".
It was a honor and blessing to have Donna Leah perform on stage at Praisefest 2013, "Worship at the Waterfront" at the Meyer Amphitheater. Donna has a lifetime of experience as a musician. Her vocal stylings and sweet spirit moved the hearts of the audience. Simply said..she is terrific! I would not hesitate to recommend Donna Leah to any church, organization or ministry.

Response from Donna Leigh Hinkley:
God bless you, David! It was a joy to be a part of this incredible event! Keep up the good work, and God bless you BIG!
Donna is an absolutely amazing singer and I feel so fortunate to have found her. Not only does Donna have a beautiful voice, she is dependable and very pleasant to work with. Donna went out of her way to learn a new and uncommon song to sing at my Grandmother's service and for that my family is truly appreciative! Thank you, Donna!!
Response from Donna Leigh Hinkley:
Thank you, Colby. It was truly an honor to serve your family -- and now, thanks to you, I have a new song in my repertoire. Edelweiss truly is a beautiful song, especially for a family of German heritage! =)

What to Expect
Donna Leigh's audience will be touched, entertained and blessed by what has been described as her "warm butter" vocals. Her performances are engaging and personal. By the end of the event, everyone in the room will feel like they've made a new best friend.
The third of four generations of musicianaries, Donna Leigh spent the first 25 years of her life traveling in ministry with her evangelist/musician/songwriter father, singing and ministering in churches across the country, and in other countries as well.
For more than a year, her family had a nationally broadcast television program called "Something to Believe In", which aired on the PTL network in the late '80's. The show featured her father, Emmett Hinkley, preaching; and her family singing with a live band on
a set that resembled a Christian nightclub.
In 1992, Donna Leigh was asked, along with her dad and brother, to be part of a 12-voice "black gospel" choir, to sing backup for Grammy winner Michael Bolton as part of his Time, Love & Tenderness tour.
As an adult, Donna Leigh basically just put one foot in front of the other for more than two decades . . . working "to make ends meet", dealing with health issues (including depression), failed marriage, raising her son, singing background vocals on occasion, leading worship for two small churches - and basically putting her dream (and God's plan?) on hold. She let the enemy tell her she'd waited too long - that she was too old, not talented enough, lacking in resources, etc. (oh, the things the enemy will say to get in the way of our dreams!!!).
A series of events led Donna Leigh to realize that she needed to pull herself up by her God-given bootstraps and say, "Enough is enough! I'm a daughter of the most High King! I KNOW He gave me this talent and this passion for a reason!!!" DONNA LEIGH GOT HER VISION BACK!!!
Because of her own life experiences, Donna Leigh is passionate about helping hurting people to see themselves through God's eyes, and to realize that they truly are the apple of His eye . . . to help them move beyond their fears and into His freedom . . . and to inspire them to pursue the dreams that He planted deep in their hearts.
Donna Leigh makes her home in Orlando, FL, and is head-over-heels crazy about her son, Jordan (who is also her all-around favorite professional musician!). Her first solo CD was released in the Fall of 2009.
