DJ Zombie plays to suit your event for indoor or outdoor events such as concerts, parties, halloween, holiday , wedding, corporate, trade show or convention. The gear used by DJ Zombie is provided for the need of the client, such as if only sound is needed for an outdoor or indoor event, only certain gear is needed, but if video projection is needed then that is possible as well.
DJ ZOMBIE plays a variety of music from rock n roll, techno, industrial, chip tune, heavy metal, hip hop, rap, dubstep, drum and bass, jazz, classical, experimental electronic and just about any other type of music you can think of.. or need played at a local event.
DJ Zombie utilizes Serato with a Pioneer DDJ-SB controller with his macbook pro, as well as using his Space Invader Arcade Machine as visual back up for projecting some visual imagery with Resolume. DJ Zombie uses a small tour bus to move his gear around.
Travis Burns aka DJ Zombie is a photographer and videographer as well, he creates music videos and short films. Stagehand, Lighting and Audio/ Video Technician.
DJ Zombie utilizes an onstage DJ controller with laptop which is used as a DJ audio table. Second DJ Zombie utilizes a stand up Deluxe size version of a 1982 Space Invader Machine which is used to mix video and DJ music with, as well as the capability of being used as an instrument mixer with built in PA. For outdoor, indoor concert, club and convention size events the tour bus can transport the Space Invader Machine. There must be parking for my tour bus at a loading dock, parking lot or paid for on the street.
Generally two lines of sound to the sound technician is what is required to send audio out to the main feed. One/Two secure power lines to feed power for the DJ set up/ and or as well as the Space Invader Machine, plus projector. Which implies at least 3 12volt plug ins onstage. I do have cables, and power strips, but just in case ect..
Please allow us to utilize any projectors which you already have mounted in the ceiling, if the venue does not allow us to use their projectors, there is a standard back up on stage projector which can be used.
For flying purposes the main DJ set for DJ Zombie is as follows DJ controller Pioneer DDJ-SB, with laptop and small carry on bag. The Space Invader Machine can be shipped for tours but only if the need is worthwhile. While DJ Zombie is capable of traveling worldwide, the arcade machine however is not. Bummer.. Anyways it can however currently travel in the Denver area..and across the USA.
The Space Invader Machine is a modded arcade machine.. ultimately it has a computer in it, and playing any old school type of video game is possible.. through emulation..
