My name is Dartis Willis II but my DJ name is DJ Dwill. I am a Mobile DJ currently studying at Stanford University. I have 2 years of Djing experience mostly through frat parties ranging from 50 - 300 people. I do most of my work at Kappa Alpha Order on Stanford's campus. I have also done formal dinners for large campus houses and I have been hired to DJ the University's sophomore formal. I am a versatile DJ I can do Top 40, hip-hop, or electro-house music or whatever you want. I basically have just my laptop and my turntables so speakers and lights/decorations would have to be provided but because of this my prices are extremely affordable. Contact me if you are interested or want a sample.

My set up is extremely simple. I will come about an hour before the start of the event and set up my controller and laptop. Then for however long you want I will provide current music in the genre(s) of your selection until the last guest has left whatever party or function is happening. I take requests and I play to the crowd. I scratch and mix song together to creating an on-going dance atmosphere. I can dj for either a sit down function or a full out crazy dance party (preference to the latter). I was in the party promoting business in high school and I partnered with a friend in promoting and working at teen clubs such as inferno in Pontiac Michigan so I know how to play to a crowd of anywhere from 16-30 year olds. I would prefer payment and the end of the service in the form of a check or cash whatever is easier for you.
My name is Dartis Willis II. I am a sophomore at Stanford University. I grew up in Lathrup Village Michigan and I attended Detroit Country Day high school. I am currently a high jumper on Stanford's track and field team and I am studying to become a mechanical engineer. I have been in the party business since high school when me and my party promoting friends spent our time at teen clubs and at parties. This is where I first became fascinated with the idea of djing. Fast forward to freshman year of college when i experienced some of the worst djing i had ever heard, this is the point when I decided to commit myself to djing. So i purchased a controller (Numark N4) and used my adequate knowledge of party music to start mixing at frat parties. After a while I gained attention from party planners all around campus and I started receiving offers to dj Stanford social events and dance parties. I am a fun loving social guy who lives to make everyone have a good time.
Like I mentioned above I am an intermediate affordable dj so I do not have speakers or lights that I bring with me but both of these things can be rented. I just plug in and provide the music. Preferably I would like to be set up extremely close to power outlets on a wall unless extension cords can be provided.
I base my sets on what you want to hear. I am available to go up and down my sets for each genre and I can have you tel me what you want to hear and what you don't want to hear. I can also take a list of songs you provide and make sure those make it into the mix, however this part is not necessary unless you really have songs that you want to hear. i keep my playlists up to date with the most popular and high quality music. If you want to hear hip hop with no profanity I need to know that in advance. If you actually want a set list contact me.
I love music. I have been passionate about music and dancing my whole life. When I got to college I noticed a lot of Dj's had no real clue what to play so I became one. My influences depend on which genre I am playing. Any of the famous festival Dj's influence my house music sets, hip-hop dj's in my home town of Michigan influenced that side of my Djing. That would be radio djs on channels 107.5 and 97.9 along with one of the first club djs i ever heard Dj Knowledge.
