Dan specializes in one-liners with an absurdist bent and can perform clean. He can perform up to an hour but can also help you put together a highly entertaining show featuring several hilarious comedians.
Dan performs stand-up comedy all over the country. He's been featured in numerous comedy festivals, including SF Sketchfest and the Burbank Comedy Festival. He has a joke writing podcast called Dan Has Jokes (NSFW).
Dan did a great job for us. Was able to engage the audience and overcame some technical difficulties with the sound system making it part of his act
Dan was excellent. He arrived 25 minutes early and was prepared to perform. Dan performed for 30 minutes and had everyone laughing the entire time. Dan's performance was worth 10 times more than what he requested for payment. One of my guest hired him immediately after his performance for their event in two weeks. I highly recommend Dan for anyone's event. I certainly will hire him again. Thanks for all the laughs Dan. Your Great!
Response from Dan Kapr:
Thanks so much Warren! It was an absolute pleasure.

What to Expect
Dan is well-mannered and deeply committed to professionalism. He will show up on time and respect the audience. He is flexible and can handle last-minute changes, and has no problem performing clean.
Dan Kapr was born with part of his face missing, and since then he’s only gotten funnier. He grew up in rural, small-town New York, and became interested in stand-up comedy at an early age. Although he was years away from becoming a live performer, he found many early opportunities to develop his comedy writing skills through personal film projects and other collaborative efforts.
In college he helped create a semi-comedic radio show called The Dan, Dan, and Mordecai Show, where he and his friend Dan were joined by a fictional third host named Mordecai, a mysterious DJ whose voice was never heard, which the other hosts attributed to a faulty microphone. The show lasted for two years, and regularly received phone calls from hecklers. After college, the two Dans co-wrote and recorded a satirical movie commentary for the 1996 Arnold Schwarzenegger film Eraser, which became the featured submission on (link hidden) in March 2014, and ranked at #24 of Rifftrax’s Top 50 “iRiffs.”
Dan spent several years working a variety of jobs: He ran youth programs, organized court files, and hassled senior citizens to make payments on their timeshares. He even spent one summer chasing bears away from campers (seriously!). Then one day, while handling urine samples for carnival employees, he thought to himself, “Now that I’ve achieved all my dreams, how can I give something back to the world?” Soon after that, he became a stand-up comedian.
Since then, Dan has performed all over the country. He has appeared in numerous festivals including SF Sketchfest and the Burbank Comedy Festival (at which he was featured in the Best of the Fest lineup). He won the Herron Entertainment Spring Comedy Contest at Eastville Comedy Club in New York, and was a finalist in the New Comedian of the Year Competition at Magooby’s Joke House in Maryland.
People frequently describe Dan's material as smart, fun, and original. He brings an amusing, laid back energy to the stage. He has a dry wit, a unique sense of humor, and a fast joke-telling pace that audiences love. Inspired by comics like Steven Wright and Mitch Hedberg, he specializes in short jokes and one-liners with an absurdist bent. His comedy covers a wide variety of topics, including aquarium memberships, fruit bat documentaries, and the historical origins of garden gnomes. He currently hosts a podcast about joke writing called Dan Has Jokes.
Dan's brand of comedy is a consistent crowd-pleaser, whether the audience is big or small. Those who see him perform are guaranteed a memorable, bear-free experience.
