I danced in Peachtree City with Dahne for a festival. She is soooo very graceful! So talented. So beautiful. Dahne adds a great deal of value to the Atlanta Middle Eastern Dance Community.

Dahne Raqs has become a welcomed dancer on many Atlanta stages in both the International and American bellydance communities. With a wide range of training including that from native Arab, African and Middle Eastern dancers; she's got the techniques and spirit of the culture which add so much to her shows. She was a highlight at the recent Raqs Runway show hosted by Pera Dance Studio, Atlanta's home for international dance and culture. Performing a sha'abi routine with gusto, she made a name for herself as one of the best of the night and is now deemed as a true international community dancer. It is a joy to see her advance in her raqs career.
What a delightful and exemplary professional!!!! Her awesome costuming and stellar performances will enchant any audience. Dahne is a pleasure to work with!!!
We would like to thank you for the incredible Egyptian Dance performance of Dahne at annual Diwali Event; it was “invariably sensuous”. Your attention to details and impressive choreography was enjoyed and appreciated by each and every guest. You are a true synonym of Egyptian dance. Greater Atlanta Punjabi Society highly recommends you to anyone who is interested in having a Egyptian Dance performance at their events. This was Dahne's second time with us and many more to come in the future. Thank you Dahne for being who you are...an awesome dancer and an extremely sweet persona.

Dahne began her dance studies in 1991 with musical theatre, modern and ballroom dance at Georgia State University. Since 2007 she has studied various forms of Middle Eastern dance through classes and workshops with various local and international instructors, mainly Diane Adams (USA) and Tito Seif (Egypt).
Dahne has performed for Atlanta BOCA (Belly Dancers of Color Association) and Greater Atlanta Punjabi Association, private and public events, various Atlanta fundraisers as well as group showcases with Atlanta’s Company Mezza. In 2011, Dahne began writing for (link hidden) as Atlanta Bellydance Examiner covering special events, shows, venues and profiles for Atlanta's international belly dance community.
Dahne is no stranger to the theatrical stage. Her style incorporates the flair and grandeur of theatrical technique with the deep emotional expression of Oriental dance. Her various studies of Middle Eastern dance styles include Raqs Sharqi, Beledi, Saidi and Sha’abi.
Preference for stage performances, but can perform in smaller venues and limited space.
I am influenced by Golden Age belly dancers and modern Raqs Stars such as Tito Seif, Randa Kamel and Lulu Sabonji.
