Crowd Theory is a party rock cover band who perform energetic interpretations of popular hits, including Top 40s, 80s, 90s, Alternative & Indie, Classic Rock, Modern Pop and more. For a 4-piece band, Crowd Theory has a huge sound, and the band can be expanded to include a 3-piece horn section for some extra brass power. Crowd Theory combines an unbeatable dance vibe with rock concert energy for an awesome performance that will leave you chanting “encore” after the last song!
Sean and his team were amazing right from the start. They were quick to respond to our emails, messages. They were flexible about change of time. They learned a few new songs for our event. They even showed up really early to make sure of their set up. Very professional people. They rocked our party. We had a audience of 300 people for our 4th of July party with a wide age group and every single person at the party was enjoying their amazing voice. We would love yo have you back next year. Thank you once again.
Crowd Theory was amazing for our Finish Line Festival. Our event layout is a little unusual for most performers as we don't really have an area in front of the stage for people to hang out and jam. That being said, Crowd Theory was able to capture people's attention even though they were physically removed. They were engaging, upbeat and played the perfect music for our crowd. I would definitely love to work with them again and highly recommend them. Thanks, Crowd Theory!
Talk about FUN! Crowd Theory had the dance floor packed all night! As a wedding photographer, I work with many DJs/Entertainment groups but none have impressed me like Crowd Theory has. There was never a lull in the evening, as they were great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged throughout the night. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for entertainment for their wedding or corporate event. They were highly professional and fantastic at what they do, look no further- hire Crowd Theory, you won't regret it!
Crowd Theory was my wildcard vendor - meaning I had only talked to Sean on the phone and seen the band's videos on YouTube when I booked them for my wedding (instead of seeing them live for myself first) - and they ended up being one of my favorite vendors, hands down. I had the absolute best time at my wedding and Sean and the band had a large part in making it the most memorable and best dance party of my entire life. I actually danced for two hours straight instead of talking to my guests and have zero regrets about it. They played such fun sets and had our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Even the catering gals were dancing in the kitchen to the songs! The level of talent and professionalism I got from Crowd Theory exceeded all of my high expectations and I want to get married at least every year just so I can have them back.
On a logistical note, Sean was fantastic at communicating with me through the entire planning process. He was great at working with me and my day-of timeline and even had the band learn a song for our ceremony processional and reception. Everything about working with Crowd Theory went extremely well, even when our timeline got a little thrown out of whack because that's what happens on your wedding day.
It's been a week since the wedding and our guests are still raving about the music at the wedding. We've had multiple guests ask us for Crowd Theory contact info as they want to book the band for their own personal/corporate gigs. Crowd Theory definitely made my wedding and I could not be happier with them from start to finish.
We were so impressed with Crowd Theory. We had a big anniversary party with a large age range. They we loved by all. Several of my friends have asked for their card for upcoming events they are planning.
We booked Crowd Theory for a non-profit event and they were a great choice! Sean was very accessible and friendly, and the whole band did an awesome job in adapting to our smaller-than-expected crowd. Musically, the band was on it. Their covers and set list were very well done, they sounded great, and we got a lot of compliments!
Lucas (and Crowd/Theory in general) was such a pleasure to work with. He made everything so easy before the event. Then of course- the music itself was fantastic! It was a private work event and people were trying to pay money to come inside to participate because of how good the music was. I wouldn't hesitate again to have them at another event. Thanks you guys!
We booked Crowd Theory for my friend's 50th birthday party at the Raymond Restaurant in Pasadena CA. The band played a mix of current alt-rock with some 80s-90s. They were spot on covering the songs on their play list. Toward the end of the evening most of the party guests were up front near the band dancing to the music...it was a great birthday party with Crowd Theory.
The booking process and quick responses to questions was effortless with Sean's help. We were initially concerned that the venue space might be too small but Sean was extremely flexible and space turned out not to be an issue. I Highly recommend Crowd Theory!
I was extremely pleased with my experience working with Crowd Theory. Though there were a fun, hip band, exactly what I wanted for my wedding, they upheld a sense of professionalism and tact every step of the way. They were incredibly responsive, and eagerly took on extra jobs like serving as our MC for the night, and making sure the space was clean. I could count on them to make sure everything was working, and they successfully problem solved when it wasn't. They out together the perfect play list, keeping things upbeat and fun for most of the night, while weaving in a few slow songs when people needed a rest. I know Crowd Theory will make your event perfect!
Flew in from DC and saw these guys play downtown, amazing performance !!!! Played all the best songs, superb harmonies, great musicians, I stayed till the end. Looking forward to the next time i'm in town to see them again. Don't miss this band.
Extremely professional, easy to work with, friendly, and incredibly talented, Crowd/Theory is surely a band on the rise. Every email was answered very quickly, the band was very flexible (accepted the gig with 5 days' notice) and accommodating, and most importantly, their music was AWESOME! If Crowd/Theory's set list is your type of music, do yourself a favor and book them now before they become famous and command fees beyond the reach of normal people. The entire event they put on was perfect. Everybody in attendance was blown away by the quality of their music, and by the end of the evening the band/client relationship felt like a friendship.
