Hailing from various ports of call in East Tennessee, The Crossjacks is an acoustic folk band, playing the traditional European music that inspired today's Appalachian music. They are popular performers at Celtic, Renaissance, medieval, pirate, Viking and other festivals throughout the mid-South, often appearing in full period costume. Their self-titled debut album was released in July of 2020. The Crossjacks are Mark Dudek (vocals/guitar), Dawn Cunningham (violin) and Reagan De Busk (flute/drums/mandolin).

What to Expect
Our repertoire is an eclectic variety of traditional and folk songs from various Old World cultures (Celtic, English, Romanian), popular festival favorites, authentic sea shanties, and some more modern pieces that fit our style. We work with crowds of all ages and sizes. And of course we perform in full period costume (when appropriate).

As well as performing on-stage, we can also act off-stage as strolling musicians, providing a more intimate and informal experience to your patrons and guests and a pleasant ambience to your event.
