What to expect
We provide a variety of different services including wedding ceremony music, wedding reception music, corporate and special event music, house concerts, shows for local bars restaurants and concert venues. Each of these requires a different type of service. For example, our wedding ceremony service includes sound reinforcement appropriate to the venue, 15-20 minutes of prelude music, all ceremony music, and 15-20 minutes of postlude music. It also includes all in person and telephone meetings necessary to plan and prepare for your event. Alternately, if you are hiring us to perform for your restaurant we would need a 6' x 10' area to perform in. We provide all our own PA equipment and require about 20 minutes to set up and sound check before we begin. We normally play 3 to 4 45 minute sets separated by 10-15 minute breaks for this type of show. Unless otherwise requested, the setlist for such a gig would be comprised of 85% classic rock country and alternative covers and 15% original music. If you have any questions about our services please contact us. We are very flexible and will work with you to ensure the best possible entertainment for your event. For weddings we can set up sound reinforcement in multiple locations to allow us to easily service your entire event from ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception!
About
Christine is a professional violinist and singer with over 25 years of experience including 15 years as a wedding violinist. She has provided violin, fiddle, viola, lead and backing vocals for a wide variety of live and studio projects. Christine is classically trained but is equally at home with rock, celtic, bluegrass, and other styles. Christine is available for hire throughout Nova Scotia, and is available for travel on a limited basis to Eastern Canada & Northeast US venues.
